MOLECULAR SIEVE SSZ-91, METHODS FOR PREPARING SSZ-91, AND USES FOR SSZ-91
A family of new crystalline molecular sieves designated SSZ-91 is disclosed, as are methods for making SSZ-91 and uses for SSZ-91. Molecular sieve SSZ-91 is structurally similar to sieves falling within the ZSM-48 family of molecular sieves, and is characterized as: (1) having a low degree of faulting, (2) a low aspect ratio that inhibits hydrocracking as compared to conventional ZSM-48 materials having an aspect ratio of greater than 8, and (3) is substantially phase pure.
COMPOSITE HIERARCHICAL ZEOLITE CATALYST FOR HEAVY REFORMATE CONVERSION TO XYLENES
A method of producing a hierarchical zeolite composite catalyst. The method including dissolving, in an alkaline solution and in the presence of a surfactant, a catalyst precursor comprising mesoporous zeolite to yield a dissolved zeolite solution, where the mesoporous zeolite comprises large pore mordenite and medium pore ZSM-5. The method also including condensing the dissolved zeolite solution to yield a solid zeolite composite from the dissolved zeolite solution and heating the solid zeolite composite to remove the surfactant. The method further including impregnating the solid zeolite composite with one or more active metals selected from the group consisting of molybdenum, platinum, rhenium, nickel, and combinations thereof to yield impregnated solid zeolite composite and calcining the impregnated solid zeolite composite to produce the hierarchical zeolite composite catalyst. The hierarchical zeolite composite catalyst has a mesostructure comprising at least one disordered mesophase and at least one ordered mesophase.
FERROSILICATE MTW MOLECULAR SIEVE, ITS SYNTHESIS AND USE
This disclosure relates to a ferrosilicate molecular sieve of MTW framework topology, its synthesis and use. Ferrosilicate MTW may be directly prepared using 1,3-diisobutylimidazolium cations as a structure directing agent. Ferrosilicate MTW may be used in organic compounds conversion and absorptive processes.

The present invention provides a catalyst composition for use in a catalytic cracking process, said catalyst composition comprises 3.5 to 15.5% of pentasil zeolite, 9 to 40% of ultra-stable Y (USY) or rare earth exchanged USY (REUSY) zeolite, 3.5 to 15% of large pore active matrix based bottom up gradation component and 0.3 to 3% of a metal trap component, the percentage being based on weight of the catalyst composition. The present invention also provides a process for preparing the said catalyst composition and a catalytic cracking process comprising contacting the said catalyst composition with a feedstock.
Synthesis of Succinimides and Quaternary Ammonium Ions for Use in Making Molecular Sieves
The present invention relates to the synthesis of succinimides, in particular to a method for the synthesis of a succinimide compound, comprising the step of reacting an alkyne, with carbon monoxide and ammonia or an amine, in the presence of an iron catalyst, wherein the reaction is carried out in an amine liquid phase and/or in the absence of an ether solvent. The succinimides may be reduced to quaternary ammonium cations which may be used as structure directing agents in the synthesis of molecular sieves.
Anatase polymorph titania-bound ZSM-12 zeolite composition and method of making and using such composition
Presented is a composition useful in the catalytic dewaxing of a waxy hydrocarbon feedstock. The composition includes a mixture of ZSM-12 zeolite and titania and may further include a noble metal. The ZSM-12 zeolite preferably has a high silica-to-alumina ratio within its framework. The mixture may be dealuminated either by acid leaching using a fluorosilicate salt or by steam treating.
