A process for olefin oligomerization can include contacting a feedstock comprising C.sub.n and C.sub.2n olefins/paraffins under oligomerization conditions in the presence of an oligomerization catalyst, wherein n is 2 to 15; and recovering an oligomeric product comprising C.sub.3n oligomers having a branching index of less than 2.1. Optionally, the feedstock can further comprise C.sub.3n olefins/paraffins.
Molecular sieve SSZ-94, catalyst, and methods of use thereof
The present application pertains to family of new crystalline molecular sieves designated SSZ-94. Molecular sieve SSZ-94 is structurally similar to sieves falling within the MTT structure type such as SSZ-32x, SSZ-32, ZSM-23, EU-13, ISI-4, and KZ-1 family of molecular sieves. SSZ-94 is characterized as having magnesium.
HIGH EFFICIENCY PROCESS FOR SEPARATING FILLERS FROM CATALYST AND GASES IN A FLUID BED CATALYTIC PYROLYSIS PROCESS
A process that separates the fillers found in plastics from catalyst and the gases in a fluid bed catalytic pyrolysis process for the conversion of waste plastics, polymers, and other waste materials to useful chemical and fuel products such as paraffins, olefins, and aromatics such as BTX, is described.
PROCESS
A process for dehydrating methanol to dimethyl ether product in the presence of a catalyst and a promoter, wherein the catalyst is at least one aluminosilicate zeolite, and the promoter is selected from one or more compounds of Formula I: (I) wherein each of X and any or all of the Y's may independently be selected from hydrogen, halide, a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbyl substituent, or a compound of the formula —CHO, —CO.sub.2R, —COR, or —OR, where R is hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbyl substituent, and wherein the molar ratio of promoter to methanol is maintained at less than 1.
