Automated preparation of breads
Apparatuses and methods for preparation of breads are described. The apparatuses include a press unit that can receive a dough ball and flatten the dough ball. The press unit includes a top plate and a bottom plate, each of which is in an inclined arrangement. The top plate swivels towards and away from the bottom plate. A dough ball is flattened between the top plate and the bottom plate. The bottom plate is heated, thereby heating a first face of the flattened dough in contact with the bottom plate. A flipper connected to at least one of the top plate and the bottom plate guides the flattened dough to a heated cooking surface. The guiding enables a second face of the flattened dough to come in contact with the cooking surface, thereby heating the flattened dough and forming the bread.

DEVICE FOR SPREADING RUNNY BATTER ON A HOTPLATE
A device for spreading a runny batter on a hotplate for manufacturing pancakes or crpes, including a rotary shaft intended to be disposed almost perpendicular with respect to the cooking face of the hotplate, a plate fixed to said rotary shaft, said plate carrying a spreading and raking means, and at least one abutment designed to bear, run or slide on the heating face of the hotplate. The spreading and raking includes at least one rake, the working free edge of which is rectilinear, making it possible to spread a portion of batter previously deposited on the heating face of said hotplate and rake the thickness of batter as long as it remains liquid so as to redeposit a layer of material upstream in order to layer the batter and fill in the holes, reproducing the action of a person skilled in the art of making pancakes or crpes.

DOMESTIC BAKING DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD
A domestic baking device for baking a food product, in particular a flat bread, made of a dough portion which is first received in a portion capsule. The baking device includes a baking and pressing device (2) for baking and pressing the dough portion (3, 3) between a first and a second baking plate (5). At least the first baking plate (4) can be driven relative to the second baking plate (5) along a preferably linear displacement path (s) towards the second baking plate (5) by means of adjusting means (7) which include an electric motor in order to flatten the dough portion (3, 3) by pressing same between the baking plates (4, 5). The baking and shaping device (2) is paired with monitoring means in order to monitor the pressing process of the dough portion (3, 3), including comparing means designed to monitor the curve of an electric motor signal (10), in particular a current or voltage signal, over the displacement path (s) of the first baking plate (4) in order to determine if a reference signal (9) that changes over the displacement path (s) of the first baking plate (4) has been reached or exceeded and to carry out an action if the reference signal (9) has been reached or exceeded.

TORTILLA CONVEYOR TRANSFER SYSTEM
A tortilla conveyor transfer system is configured to transfer product from a tortilla press to an oven. The tortilla press outputs batches of product to a press conveyor driven at a press speed. The oven then receives the batches of product at an oven conveyor driven at an oven speed that is slower than the press speed. The tortilla conveyor transfer system is interposed between the press conveyor and the oven conveyor. The tortilla conveyor transfer system has a first conveyor, a second conveyor, and a controller. The first conveyor is positioned in series with the press conveyor and the second conveyor, and the second conveyor is positioned in series with the first conveyor and the oven conveyor. In operation, the controller controls and varies the speed of the first conveyor and the second conveyor.
AUTOMATIC DISPENSING, COOKING AND SERVING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Described herein is an automatic cooking apparatus 100 and method. The apparatus includes at least one curved heating member 106 configured to move in an arcuate path, and at least one dispensing mechanism for dispensing at least one semi-solid liquid substance on the at least one heating surface 106a, 106b. The curved heating member 106 has at least one heating surface 106a, 106b, which, in the course of dispensing of the semi-solid liquid substance on the heating surface 106a, 106b, moves in the arcuate path to spread the semi-solid liquid substance on the heating surface 106a, 106b. The heating surface 106a, 106b is also configured to attain one or more cooking positions in the arcuate path after the semi-solid liquid substance is suitably spread on it for cooking the at least one semi-solid liquid substance.
BAKING DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD
