Fishing lure system and kit having replaceable features and construction
09936681 · 2018-04-10 · ·

A flexible fishing lure is provided that includes a outer shape having a transverse opening for receiving a plurality of alternatively formed lure fin members allowing a user to change the action of a lure by fin selection without replacing the lure. Multiple internal channels within the lure are adaptively provided for receiving a variety of scent sticks, sound generators, light generators, flavor generating means. Flow internal channels extend from a front opening to gill openings allowing a water flow along an inserted scent or flavor stick member to pass through the lure body and exit proximate fin, nair, belly, or other locations simulating an injured or wounded fish leaking bodily fluids or blood. Other features to simulate wounded features. Replacement fins and weighting constructions allow a user to tailor a weight and action enabling a circling or injured motion during retrieval. The lure includes a flexible holographic-type attractive film and physical shape having a level-maintaining physical shape.

TOP WATER LURE BAIT
20180070568 · 2018-03-15 ·

A lure bait including an elongated body and at least one ventral hook. The elongated body includes a dorsal surface having a convex shape, a ventral surface opposite the dorsal surface having a concave shape, a distal end, and a proximal end. The proximal end includes an angled bill having a flat transverse surface extending from the dorsal surface to the ventral surface. The at least one ventral hook is connected to the ventral surface of the elongated body. The angled bill is angled such that when the elongated body is pulled from the proximal end along the surface of the water, the water exerts a force on the angled bill, thereby causing the distal end of the elongated body to rise relative to the proximal end and cause the proximal end to shield the at least one ventral hook from entanglements located in the water.

Snag Free Lure Assembly
20180064082 · 2018-03-08 ·

A snag free lure assembly includes a lure that may be cast into a body of water. Thus, the lure may lure a fish. A retracting unit is positioned within the lure. The retraction unit includes a plurality of hooks. The retracting unit retracts each of the hooks into the lure to inhibit the lure from being snagged when the lure is cast. The retracting unit selectively deploys each of the hooks outwardly from the lure when a fish bites the lure. Thus, the lure hooks the fish.

Fishing weight

A fishing weight (100) that includes an oblong body (104), for instance in the shape of a football. A passage (116) extends through the oblong body (104) to allow fishing line (140) to extend through the passage (116). The passage (116) is positioned so that the fishing line (140) pulls the fishing weight (100) in a sideways orientation through the water. In one embodiment, the passage (116) proceeds other than linearly through the oblong body (104) of the fishing weight (100).

Forward Gliding and Upward Reversing Fishing Lure
20180014516 · 2018-01-18 ·

A rigid, semi-rigid, or soft 3-dimensional, realistic appearing, artificial and aft tethered decapod lure comprising a head section, a tapered body section and a tail section with an up plaining, expanded fan-shaped tail. Each section exhibits ribbing that allows for visual and sonic characterization of the lure by predator fish. Lure sections are hollow and chambered to allow for weighting of the head and body section to encourage a forward and downward glide with lure casting and line slack. In opposite, the upward-plaining, fan-shaped tail acts as an upward, reverse motion mechanism with retrieval of the invention. The bi-directional motion capability of the lure allows the angler to utilize the lure in two ways, as a sub-surface sinking lure, attracting fish at various depths, or as a surface, top-water lure capable of replicating the actions of an escaping decapod under attack by a predatory fish.

RATTLING SOFT BODY LURE

A soft body lure design having a hard head which allows an internal rattle to create a much louder sound and maintain the balance of the lure and will also weigh more allowing the lure to be cast much farther
