Spring actuated weedless fishing lure
A spring actuated weedless fishing lure increases the chances of successfully catching a fish without entangling a hook on plant material. A weedless guard system prevents the hook from catching on weeds and compresses a spring to hold the spring and hook in a retracted position. When a fish strikes, the weedless guard system is released allowing the spring to expand and push the hook in a longitudinal direction to an expanded position away from other parts of the lure. This expanded position provides a greater area for the fish's mouth to engage with the hook without interference from other parts of the lure. The expanded position also allows the hooks to embed closer to the front of a fish's mouth and reduces the risk of the fish swallowing the whole lure.

Fishing lure with actuated hooks
A fishing lure with actuated hooks preferably includes a fish housing, a hook retainer, a hook cam, a pull pin and at least two hooks. The hook retainer pivotally retains pivoting ends of the at least two hooks. A front of the hook retainer is retained in fish housing. The hook cam preferably includes a cone base and at least two hook loops. The pivoting ends of the at least two hooks are inserted through the at least two hook loops. The hook cam does not move axially relative to the pull pin. The fish housing includes at least two hook slots to allow the at least two hooks to extend outward. A compression spring biases the hooks to stay in the fish housing. The at least two hooks are pushed outward by axial movement of the hook cam relative to the fish housing when the pull pin is pulled.

ARTIFICIAL BAIT WITH MOVABLE HOOK
The present inventive concept relates to an artificial bait with movable hooks that is capable of easily catching cephalopods such as octopus ocellatus, cuttlefish, and the like underwater. According to the present inventive concept, in the process of performing hook setting, the movable hooks located at one end portion of the body move to the other end portion of the body, so that the cuttlefish around the body can be easily caught by the movable hooks suddenly protruding outward.

RAPIDLY ADJUSTABLE BAIT PROTECTOR
A protective head for bait fish that enables rapid adjustment of line position and bait shape without restringing the line or replacing hooks. The line runs through a plug that fits into any of several holes in the front of the bait protector. Using different holes changes the spin of the bait. To change holes, the plug is removed from its hole by sliding it along the line, the line is shifted to another hole along slots that connect the holes, and the plug is reinserted into the new hole; no rerigging is needed. Embodiments of the invention may also use a tuning wire that is inserted through the cup face and into the bait, and that can be bent to shape the bait as desired. The bait protector cup depth exceeds that of other protectors, eliminating the need for precise cuts to fit bait into the cup.
Fishing Lure
A fishing lure frame comprising a V-shaped frame having an aperture or loop formed at a vertex of the V-shaped member, the V-shaped member having a first leg and an upper second leg joined at the vertex, the first leg including a lure body extending from a distal end thereof with a hook extending from a distal end of the body and a skirt attaching at a collar formed by a reduced diameter medial portion of the body, the second leg being about three-fourths as long as the first leg and extending at a selected angle of from between 60-120 degrees from the first leg, the second leg extending in spaced apart alignment with the first leg and the second leg including a rotatable bladed attaching to a distal end thereof, the lure body including a plurality of transverse longitudinal members extending from the tip thereof including distal ends having rotatable blades connecting thereto.

PLIABLE FISHING LURE
A fishing lure includes a pliable body having a forward portion configured to produce drag on the pliable body when moved through water in a prescribed direction. The pliable body additionally includes an upper edge having a forward segment extending from the forward portion, a rearward segment extending away from the forward segment, and a middle segment located between the forward and rearward segments and forming an apex between the forward and rearward segments. A pair of eyes are included on opposed sides of the pliable body. The fishing lure further includes a hook connector having a corkscrew portion and an axial portion. The hook connector is connected to the pliable body such that the corkscrew portion is located within the pliable body and a segment of the axial portion extends out of the planar forward surface of the pliable body to facilitate attachment to a hook.
