A bio-chip is provided. The bio-chip includes a first substrate, a polarizing array, and a plurality of reaction sites. The polarizing array is disposed on the first substrate, and includes first sub-polarizing units having a first polarizing angle and second sub-polarizing units having a second polarizing angle. The first polarizing angle is different from the second polarizing angle. The reaction sites are disposed on the polarizing array. Each of the reaction sites corresponds to one of the first sub-polarizing units or one of the second sub-polarizing units.

An automatic sample injection system (1) includes at least an injector (2). The injector (2) includes a turret (10) comprising a plurality of vial receiving holes (30) that are corresponding to a plurality of types of vials having different sizes, the plurality of vial receiving holes (30) being provided on the same circumference on an upper surface of the turret, the turret being configured to rotate so that the plurality of the vial receiving holes (30) are each moved along a circumferential track, and a controller (22) configured, in a case where a sampler (4) for supplying a vial to the injector (2) is provided, to recognize a size of a target vial to be supplied at the time when the target vial is supplied from the sampler (4) and to arrange the vial receiving hole (30) corresponding to the target vial at a delivery position (P) set on the circumferential track.
Method for automated detection of antibodies in a liquid biological sample using an antigen chip, and antigen chip therefor
A method is useful for automated detection of antibodies in a liquid biological sample with an antigen chip having antigen spots which are applied thereon and which have an identical, common dye. The antigen spots form respective antigen spot sets which form corresponding respective, regular antigen spot patterns. Furthermore, reference spots comprising the identical dye are applied, and form a reference spot set which forms a regular reference pattern. The reference pattern differs with respect to its regularity from the antigen spot patterns. Through a first image information item which represents a color of the reference spots and of the antigen spots due to the identical, first dye and through a second image information item which represents a potential color of the antigen spots due to a second dye after an incubation, binding of antibodies of the biological sample to respective antigen types is then determined by image processing.

The present disclosure provides a system for fluid handling and transport, comprising a plate with at least one cavity for receiving a fluid which is surrounded by a rim, and a separate cover comprising a centrally arranged surface as a sealing element which is surrounded by a rim, wherein the plate or the cover comprise at least one snap-fit mechanism for connecting at least two plates, at least two covers or a plate and a cover, wherein the snap-fit mechanism extends upwards or downwards from the surrounding rim of the plate or the cover, and wherein the rim of the plate or cover which is to be connected is configured for accommodating the snap-fit mechanism of an upper or lower plate or cover in a retaining element arranged at the rim.

The object of the present invention is to provide a container holding member that is capable of simply, surely, and stably holding a plurality of medical containers, and that is usable efficiently for medical containers. The present invention is a container holding member capable of holding a plurality of bottomed tubular medical containers. The container holding member is provided with a flat plate-like substrate section having a plurality of through holes penetrating one surface and the other surface and a plurality of tubular housing sections each having an upper side opening end on a side of the one surface of the substrate section and a lower side opening end on a side of the other surface and each protruding upward or downward from a hole edge of each of the through holes. The tubular housing sections are each configured to be capable of holding each of the medical containers in a state where an outer bottom surface of each of the medical containers protrudes downward from the lower side opening end when the medical containers are housed in the tubular housing sections.

Provided is a heat treatment device for slide specimen testing, and the heat treatment device mainly includes a container, a base, a heater, a liquid outlet, a liquid inlet, a controller and a thermocouple. When such device is used together with devices such as a slide cover plate and a slide rack, a large amount of slide specimens can be carried out steps of reagent loading, cleaning, heat treatment, temperature maintaining and drying inside one same device, especially multi-step operations such as an immunohistochemical testing, an original hybrid gene testing, and other protein testing, DNA nucleotide and gene testing on the slide specimen. Disclosed herein are cellular cassettes for the storage, collection, and analysis of biological samples. The cellular cassette can enable easy sample collection and sealing of microwell arrays with semi-permeable membrane for stable storage and future processing of single cells. Also disclosed herein are systems and kits comprising one or more described cassettes. The described cassettes, systems, and kits can be used to create barcoded, single-cell sequencing libraries. Further described herein are methods of using the cassettes, systems, and kits.
