Luminescent Markings
Reflective luminescent markings on a road or sign surface are formed by applying onto the surface a base material which is liquid in an initial state for application and sets or cures to form a solid layer after application where the base material contains a fine/medium filler material of glass ground from recycled materials in a rotary mill. Coarse material from the grinder is separated out and supplied as a separate material to be applied onto the surface of the layer of base material and fine ground glass. The base material is connected or impregnated with a luminescent material such as photo luminescent 2 4 6 trichlorophenyl in a binder such as polyurea.
Pulverizer system
A pulverizer may have such features as a drum having a top and bottom, a rotating shaft extending vertically in the drum having radially extending arms that create flow currents within the pulverizer to size reduce a material, and a dust collection system coupled to the outlet for extracting air and dust from the size reduced material. The pulverizer may have an ability to detect wrapping as well as possibly deter wrapping. A processor may also adjust the speed of rotation of the arms within the pulverizer and/or the speed of feed of input for various considerations. In fact the rotation direction may be reversed for at least brief periods of time in an effort to remove wrapped material. Vibration may also be sensed and efforts to prevent damage may be instigated by a processor.
System and mechanism for bottom ash feed regulation to a low capacity conveyor
A system and mechanism for bottom ash flow turndown from a hopper, through a crusher, and to a conveyor, the system including a fixed flow restrictor and a variable speed side discharge crusher to modulate bottom ash flow in the absence of gate or valve flow from a hopper, the conveyor providing a signal corresponding to an overfeed condition to enable a controller to operate the crusher and/or the conveyor to eliminate overfeed conditions.
