A lifting wall arrangement at an end wall of a drum mill, having a plurality of segments which are removably installable on the end wall. Each segment includes an inner wall and an opposing outer wall. At least one lifting blade is arranged on said outer wall, such that the outer wall, the lifting blade and the inner wall define a discharge channel leading to a discharge cone. The inner wall forms a part of a sieving wall in the drum mill. Each segment constitutes an integrated unit adapted to be installed on the end wall. The disclosure also relates to a segment of a lifting wall arrangement and a drum mill comprising a lifting wall arrangement.

Device for comminuting feedstock

A device for comminuting feedstock with a rotor which is disposed within a housing and rotates about an axis of rotation and is equipped over its circumference with comminuting tools. A ring disc is attached to front sides of the rotor in each case concentrically to the axis of rotation. The removal of the sufficiently comminuted material occurs via a screen deck extending over part of the rotor circumference. On axial front sides of the screen deck an arcuate sealing element following the outer circumference of the ring disc is disposed in each case, the element which to form a sealing gap in the plane of the ring disc lies radially opposite to the disc. The sealing effect of the sealing gap between the screen deck and rotor uniformly over the entire length is successfully achieved in this way.

A rock crushing assembly is provided in the form of a pulverizing tumbler. The apparatus includes a faceted tumbler having a plurality of faceted end walls, a pair of parallel sidewalls, and an open interior. A power source and a drivetrain assembly attach to the sidewalls of the tumbler and rotate the same. Within the tumbler is adapted to be placed rocks and minerals to be pulverized, wherein pulverizing media is placed in the tumbler with the rocks to break down the rocks into fine, granular material. One of the end walls of the tumbler is removable to allow access to the tumbler interior. One or more gaps or apertures through one or more of the end walls allow the pulverized material to exit the tumbler during operation, thereby reducing build-up of loose material that can dampen impacts within the tumbler.

The pulp lifter has a leading edge and a trailing edge with respect to rotation of the mill, and includes a first wall bounding an interior space and a second wall dividing the interior space into first and second regions. The first wall includes a leading edge wall formed with at least one inlet opening providing access to the second section, an inner edge wall, and a radially outer wall. The second wall includes a guide that extends substantially from the radially outer wall to a trailing edge of the inner edge wall. The first and second walls form an outlet opening for discharge of slurry from the second section at a radially inner edge. The first section of the interior space is at least partially open at the trailing edge of the pulp lifter.

An ecocompatible container for recycling cigarette butts is constituted by a cylinder including an openable upper cover, a base and an intermediate portion which houses a common hopper in external communication with ashtrays through which the cigarette butts are introduced, wherein via the hopper, the butts are introduced into a screening basket with balls, in which the rotation of the screening basket allows, by mutual impact and friction of the balls, crushing the cigarette butts and hence effectively separating the organic portion, i.e. the filter paper and the residual tobacco that fall by gravity through holes into an underlying suitable collection container, from the resistant, fibrous portion constituted only by the filters of the cigarettes which, when sucked by a small suction motor, will fall into an underlying filter accumulation chamber.

DISCHARGE END WALL INSERTS

An insert for covering one or more selected surfaces of a discharge end assembly including a discharge end wall of a mill shell partially defined by an outer perimeter wall thereof and a number of pulp lifters mounted on the discharge end wall. The insert is formed to cover the selected surfaces to mitigate wear to which the selected surfaces are subjected when the insert is located in a predetermined position relative to the selected surfaces.
