A blender system includes a container having a rotatable blade assembly therein, a lid covering an open end of the container, and a base with a motorized unit. When the container is coupled with the base, the motorized unit is adapted to drive rotation of the rotatable blade assembly. The lid includes a hinged actuator lever adapted to actuate the motorized unit. A detent extends from the hinged actuator lever and passes through a series of apertures and presses against a slidable actuator shaft disposed in the container and maintained in its position by a spring force, thereby depressing a switch for the motorized unit. A rotatable blade system includes cutting blade(s) and crushing blade(s). The crushing blade extends longitudinally outwardly from a hub. When the hub rotates in a first direction or second direction opposite the first direction, a face of the crushing blade is leading or trailing, respectively.

A crushing machine for a vegetable food product frozen in blocks, or in IQF form. The machine includes a box-like body containing defining a crushing chamber. The box-like body has an inlet port, through which the frozen food product is put in the crushing chamber and an outlet port through which a frozen crushed product is discharged from the crushing chamber. In the crushing chamber a crushing unit is mounted comprising a plurality of crushing rollers, for example three crushing rollers. Each crushing roller is arranged to rotate about a respective rotation axis and is having peripherally a plurality of teeth arranged to cut the frozen product into blocks, or IQF form, for splitting it into the above described fragments of predetermined size. In particular, the rotation axes of the crushing rollers are parallel to each other.

The invention relates to a device for fixing and aligning cutter blades for a system for fine comminution and/or for emulsification of semisolid, plastic or plastoelastic substances, in particular raw substances for food production, comprising means for the detachable fastening of the cutter blades (3) to a cutter drive shaft (4). Furthermore, according to the invention, a single-part or multi-part support or carrier body (6) is provided which extends under or over the cutter blades (3) and which is connected, radially at the inside, to the cutter drive shaft (4), wherein a positively locking and/or non-positively locking connection is formed at least radially at the outside between the associated end of the support or carrier body (6) and the respective cutter blade (3).

The invention relates to a device for fixing and aligning cutter blades for a system for fine comminution and/or for emulsification of semisolid, plastic or plastoelastic substances, in particular raw substances for food production, comprising means for the detachable fastening of the cutter blades (3) to a cutter drive shaft (4). Furthermore, according to the invention, a single-part or multi-part support or carrier body (6) is provided which extends under or over the cutter blades (3) and which is connected, radially at the inside, to the cutter drive shaft (4), wherein a positively locking and/or non-positively locking connection is formed at least radially at the outside between the associated end of the support or carrier body (6) and the respective cutter blade (3).
