VERTICAL ROLL MILL
A vertical roll mill may include a grinding plate, a grinding roll, a nozzle ring that horizontally surrounds the grinding plate, an air feed apparatus disposed under the nozzle ring, a discharge element disposed below or in a region of the air feed apparatus, and a bypass apparatus disposed in the nozzle ring. The bypass apparatus may form a connection between the nozzle ring and the discharge element. Further, the bypass apparatus can discharge particles that are difficult to grind, for example, ductile particles such as iron particles, from the grinding process. In some examples, the bypass apparatus includes a gas-impermeable outer skin in the region of the air feed apparatus.

Converting recyclable materials into manufacturing products
A method of processing municipal solid waste includes extracting food waste, inert materials, and ferrous and non-ferrous metals from the municipal solid waste, shredding the municipal solid waste and thereby generating a product feed comprising at least 99.7% by volume cellulose-based materials and plastic. The product feed is conveyed to a forming system and a manufacturing product is created out of the product feed with the forming system.
Apparatus and method for handling liquids or slurries from an oil or gas process
The invention provides an apparatus (10) for removing magnetic particles (53) from a liquid flowing from an oil or gas operation and method of use. The apparatus (10) comprises a plurality of magnet assemblies (20), each having a first condition in which an operable part is active to attract magnetic particles (53) to the magnet assembly (20), and a second condition in which the operable part is inactive and magnetic particles (53) are not attracted to the magnet assembly (20). A drive mechanism (13) moves the magnet assemblies (20) between exposure to a flow path of from a liquid (40) flowing from an oil or gas operation and a collection location (54). An activation means (36) moves the magnet assemblies (20) between the first condition and the second condition.

Precious metal separation
A system for precious metal separation includes a feeder that provides a granular mixture to a precious metal separator device. The feeder includes an inlet port, a storage area, and an outlet port. The feeder provides the granular mixture to the precious metal separator device at a rate at which the precious metal separator device processes the granular material. As the feeder provides the granular mixture to the precious metal separator, a remover removes ferromagnetic material from the provided granular mixture before the provided granular mixture reaches the precious metal separator.

MIXTURE SEPARATION DEVICE WITH DETACHED FREE ROLLING BARS
A device for separating components of a mixture, particularly industrial fluids but also gases including air, allows for targeted components of the mixture to be attached onto a separating bar and removed from the mixture. The separating bars traverse a track formed within the body of the separating device and through respective tank, cleaning, free roll, and compression regions in a controlled cleaning system. The separating bars are detached from one another and allowed to move through the separating device independently of one another. The device removes the use of chains to connect cleaning bars traversing through a cleaning system.
