The invention includes an air mover device used for fire mitigation and protection. The core component is an air mover unit whose discharge airstream can be positioned using air rudders to provide air flows in optimum directions and capacity to counter unwanted fire progression or to promote fires in cases of back-burns. Additional support components include a power supply, its fuel source, a speed control mechanism for the air mover, an air mover inlet protective screen, a sparger unit to impart suppressant or retardant into the airstream, and instrumentation and controls to ensure function and safety of equipment and personnel. This device can be on a static or mobile platform, towed or self-propelled and can be locally or remotely controlled.

The present invention relates to a hose arrangement for creating a bubble curtain in bodies of water, comprising at least one air hose including an interior space enclosed by a wall, where a perforation consisting of individual punctures is introduced in the wall at least in an upper, first circumferential area, from which air can be discharged, when the interior space is pressurized, for creating a bubble curtain extending in the longitudinal direction of the air hose, and a ballast receptacle including a receiving area extending in the longitudinal direction, in which an elongated ballast element is received.
Showers
A shower includes a shower assembly and a control member. The shower assembly includes a main body having a side wall, an end wall, a plurality of outlet bores and an inlet bore, wherein the side wall and end wall are connected to each other to compose an accommodating space. The outlet bores and the inlet bore are positioned on the side wall of the main body, and communicate with each other through the accommodating space. The control member is positioned in the accommodating space of the shower assembly, and has a flow channel and a plurality of through holes. Each of the through holes communicates with each other through the flow channel, and is corresponding to the inlet bore or one of the outlet bores. When the control member is operated, at least one of the through holes communicates with the inlet bore, and another one of the through holes communicates with the corresponding one of the outlet bores.
Aircraft deicing fluid recovery system
A deicing fluid recovery system includes a vehicle movable adjacent to an aircraft and including a holding tank configured to store deicing fluid and a receptacle configured to capture deicing fluid from the aircraft during a deicing procedure. During the deicing procedure, deicing fluid runoff from a surface of the aircraft may be captured into the receptacle and transferred from the receptacle into the holding tank. The deicing fluid runoff may be captured into the receptacle before the deicing fluid runoff contacts ground.

A module compares a pair formed by a value, measured by the first apparatus, of the fluid flow and a value, measured by the second apparatus, of the fluid pressure, with a pair formed by a first previously defined reference value of a considered fluid flow, and by a second previously defined reference value of the considered fluid pressure. A pump feeds the fluid into the device so that a value of the flow of the fluid is constant.

The water or wastewater and industry or regulatory body specifically approved ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution(s) is directed to an Integrated Mobile Aerosolization System (IMAS) or other system having a turbine and being integrated and mobile. The turbine is driven so as to generate a system of air. Integrated pumps are utilized to move the water or wastewater and industry or regulatory body specific and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution(s) to a series of nozzles that aerosolizes the water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution into the path of the system of air. The water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution form a mixture that is entrained in the system of air. The mixture of water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilizing or penetrating reagent solution is directed over a specific area that is to be covered with an approved material. The water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution form that industry specific and regulatory body approved covering material that is applied to the specific area.

A coating system includes a support fixture sized to be partially inserted into one or more openings of a component and a spray nozzle segment device comprising a housing configured to receive a slurry. The device is disposed radially outward of a central axis of the component and is shaped to extend circumferentially about at least part of the central axis of the component. The housing comprises plural delivery nozzles configured to spray the slurry onto a surface of the component. The device is operably coupled with the support fixture such that the fixture maintains a position of the device within the component when the support fixture is partially inserted into one or more openings of the component.
