ROBOTIC ELECTROSTATIC PAINTING APPARATUS
A next generation painting robot with advanced fluid delivery system, enhanced kinematics and a service airlock compartment. The painting robot includes a fluid delivery system which places color changing valves and pumping hardware on the back side of the robot's mounting pedestal, where it can be serviced without a technician having to enter the spray booth. The fluid delivery system also allows smaller and lighter robot arms, and is designed to minimize paint waste and wait time during color changes. This is accomplished by an arrangement of shut off valves and pumps, including a pump for paint and a high-efficiency pump for low viscosity solvent, operating in a sequence to push paint through a minimal-length supply line to the applicator, using almost all of this paint for painting the part, before returning to a cleaning stand and expelling the remaining paint and solvent in the supply line.
ROBOTIC APPARATUS FOR A COMPACT PAINTING BOOTH
A next generation painting robot with advanced fluid delivery system, enhanced kinematics and a service airlock compartment. The painting robot includes a fluid delivery system which places color changing valves and pumping hardware on the back side of the robot's mounting pedestal, where it can be serviced without a technician having to enter the spray booth. The fluid delivery system also allows smaller and lighter robot arms, and is designed to minimize paint waste and wait time during color changes. The robot also features kinematics providing redundant inner arm rotation. The arm kinematics, along with the smaller arms, a paint supply line routed through the center of first and third arm joints, and optimized motor conductor routing, dramatically improve near reach flexibility. The improved near reach flexibility in turn allows a smaller spray booth than possible with previous robot architectures.
Disinfection device
The disclosure relates in particular to an apparatus for disinfecting at least one room, in particular for one or more persons, preferably a dwelling space or treatment room, for example a treatment room in a building, in particular a sickroom, a patient room and/or an operating theatre, by means of an atomiser. Specifically, the apparatus is characterised in that the atomiser includes a rotatable bell cup for atomising a disinfectant into the room. The disclosure relates to an associated method and furthermore to the use of a bell cup for atomising a disinfectant in a room for, in particular, one or more persons.
Rotary bell cup atomizer with auxiliary turbine and vortex shaping air generator
The invention provides apparatus for spray coating of substrates using a rotary bell cup atomizer equipped with an air-driven main turbine and a supply of pressurized primary shaping air conveyed through primary shaping air channels and nozzles for controlling the shape of the atomized spray pattern exiting the bell cup edge, the apparatus further including an auxiliary, independently air-driven turbine equipped with a rotatable vortex generator, and including a separate air supply of secondary shaping air for supplying secondary shaping air through secondary air channels and nozzles to further control the shape of the atomized spray pattern exiting the bell cup, which secondary shaping air, on passing through the vortex generator, produces a curtain of shaping air in a vortex-like pattern, which, in conjunction with and mixing with the primary shaping air from the primary air nozzles, produces improved pattern control, transfer efficiency and quality of coating on the substrate.
Rotary atomizing head type coating machine
A rotary atomizing head includes an outer peripheral surface washing passage open onto an atomizing head outer peripheral surface for causing wash fluid supplied from a feed tube to flow out into an annular clearance between the rotary atomizing head and a shaping air ring. An outflow opening of an outflow passage constituting the outer peripheral surface washing passage is provided in a position closer to the backside into the annular clearance by a length dimension than a front end surface of a front ring section constituting the shaping air ring. Further, the outflow opening opens to the annular clearance in an angle that is an acute angle to the atomizing head outer peripheral surface.
APPLICATION COMPONENT OF A ROTARY ATOMIZER MADE OF FOAM MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD AND APPLICATION SPRAYING METHOD
An application component for a rotary atomizer, having a base body which has an outflow surface for an application material that is to be atomized. In order to obtain a weight which is as low as possible while providing a highest possible strength, the base body is made in its interior at least in some regions of a material having cellular structures. Possible production methods of the component are, inter alia, an integral foam casting process, in particular an integral metal foam casting process, or a generative process.
ROTARY ATOMIZING HEAD TYPE COATING MACHINE
The coating machine is provided with an air motor (3), a rotational shaft (4) that is rotatably supported by the air motor (3), a feed tube (5) that extends to a tip end of the rotational shaft (4) through the inside of the rotational shaft (4), a rotary atomizing head (6) that is mounted to the tip end of the rotational shaft (4), and a shaping air ring (7) that surrounds an outer periphery of the rotary atomizing head (6) and an axial tip end of which is arranged in back of a paint releasing edge (6D) of the rotary atomizing head (6). The shaping air ring (7) includes a great number of first shaping air spurting holes (9), and a great number of second shaping air spurting holes (10). An inner diameter dimension (d1) of the first shaping air spurting hole (9) is set to be larger than an inner diameter dimension (d2) of the second shaping air spurting hole (10). The number (N2) of the second shaping air spurting holes (10) is set to be smaller than the number (N1) of the first shaping air spurting holes (9).
Painting device
A painting device is provided with: a bell-shaped cup for discharging paint; a housing for holding the cup so as to be freely rotatable; and first tip openings disposed on the outside in the radial direction on the base end side of the tip side outer peripheral edge of the cup and throwing paint onto a workpiece by spraying shaping air in the direction of the tip. When a tangent line that is tangent to the tip side outer peripheral edge of the cup from a first tip opening is drawn in a front view of the painting device, the first tip opening sprays shaping air at an inclination more to the inside in the radial direction of the cup than the tangent line.
Rotary atomizing coating device and spray head
The rotary atomizing coating device (1) is provided with a spray head (2) formed of a tube body having a circular truncated conical shape and constituted to spray, from an opening end on the large diameter side, a coating introduced from an opening end on the small diameter side thereof, and a coating supply machine (3) engaged with the spray head (2) for supplying the coating while rotating the spray head (2) around an axial line (O). The spray head (2) has a first coating diffusion part (28) having a curved surface with a convex shape towards the axial line (O) on the inner peripheral surface, and a second coating diffusion part (29) extending to an outer edge (26) of the opening end on the large diameter side having a curved surface with a concave shape towards the axial line (O) with grooves (4) on the outer edge (26).
