PLURAL COMPONENT SPRAY GUN SYSTEM
A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.
Foam/liquid applicator with an internal lighting system and a carwash system having the foam/liquid applicator
A foam/liquid applicator system for an automated carwash has at least one foam generator with a first end, a second end, a first input for receiving air, and a second input for receiving a detergent mixture. The foam generator transforms the air and the detergent mixture into foam. A light chamber is attached to the first end of said foam generator and receives the foam formed in the foam generator, the light chamber has a plurality of openings for dispensing. A light bar is disposed in the light chamber and has a plurality of lights for illuminating the foam as it is expelled via the openings.
PRESSURIZED CONTAINER INCLUDING FLOWABLE PRODUCTS AND NON-SOLUBLE PROPELLANT
A pressurized container assembly includes a pressurized container, a valve, and a shearing chamber. A flowable product and propellant are also provided within the container. The propellant is substantially non-soluble in the flowable product. Methods of producing a foamed flowable product using shearing chambers are also disclosed.
Foam-at-a-distance systems, foam generators and refill units
Exemplary foam-at-a-distance systems, refill units and foam generators are disclosed herein. An exemplary foam generator includes a body having an inlet for receiving air and an inlet for receiving liquid. The foam generator includes a plurality of baffles located within the body. A plurality of elongated spaces are formed at least in part by the baffles. The elongated spaces have a length that is greater than a width.
FOAMING CARTRIDGES, PUMPS, REFILL UNITS, AND FOAM DISPENSERS USING THE SAME
An exemplary foam cartridge for a foam pump includes a housing having an inner diameter, a first foaming stage disposed within the housing, and a second foaming stage disposed within the housing. The first foaming stage is spaced apart from the second foaming stage. The first foaming stage has at least two different types of mix media, and the second foaming stage has at least two different types of mix media.
Low pressure plural component spray system and foams generated therefrom
The disclosure provides methods for preparing a plural component material where part A and part B supplies are delivered from unpressurized storage containers. In use, a continuous stream of high velocity air moves through the static mixing nozzle, and the material streams may be intermittently moved into the nozzle and aerated with an air supply to cause the A and B materials to be mixed with each other and moved with the air to form the plural component materials. The plural component materials are delivered from a static mixing nozzle at pressures of less than 300 psi. Spray guns configured for preparing the plural component materials are also disclosed. Polyurethane foams, polyurethane adhesives, and polyurea coatings prepared by the methods are further provided.
Low Pressure Plural Component Spray System and Foams Generated Therefrom
The disclosure provides methods for preparing a plural component foam where the materials supplies are provided from unpressurized storage containers. In use, a continuous stream of high velocity air moves through the static mixing nozzle, and the material streams may be intermittently moved into the gas stream of the nozzle and aerated and mixed with each other and moved with the air to form the plural component foam. The plural component foams are delivered from a static mixing nozzle at pressures of less than 300 psi. Spray guns configured for preparing the plural component foams are also disclosed. Polyurethane foams, polyurethane adhesives, and polyurea foams prepared by the methods are further provided.
Dispensing nozzle having a tubular exit zone comprising vanes
A nozzle and a process suitable for dispensing liquid foamable products, particularly useful with carbon dioxide blowing agents, the nozzle comprising a tubular exit zone having an inlet and an outlet; the tubular exit zone having an inner wall surface defining a passageway for dispensing having a centerline axis; the tubular exit zone further having a plurality of vanes attached to the inner wall surface parallel to the centerline axis with the vanes extending radially into the passageway for dispensing; the vanes having a length dimension, a thickness dimension, and a width dimension; and wherein the vanes do not connect or touch at the centerline of the passageway for dispensing.
