Apparatus and method for spray drying
An electrostatic spray dryer for drying liquid into powder including an elongated body defining a drying chamber, a spray nozzle assembly at one end of the drying chamber and a filter element housing and powder collection chamber at an opposite end. A non-structural non-metallic liner is disposed within the elongated body in spaced relation to an inner wall surface for defining an internal drying zone. The liner is releasably supported within the body for enabling selective removal and replacement following a particular usage. The illustrated elongated body has a modular construction comprising a plurality of modules, with at least one being selectively removable and replacement for altering the length of the drying chamber for a particular spray application. The liner also is replaceable with a liner of a length corresponding to the altered length of the drying chamber or with a different diameter for a particular usage.
ATOMIZING NOZZLE DEVICE, ATOMIZED FLUID AND USE OF THE SAME
The invention relates to a new atomizing device with improved droplet formation. Smaller droplets are formed with increased micronized volume throughput, wherein high volumes of air are fed to a liquid sprayed from a liquid nozzle. High volume ratios result in mean free path between droplets being conveyed so as to minimize collisions and to prevent aggregation of the droplet.
Spray dryer with improved exhaust gas filtration system
A spray dryer for drying liquid into powder including an elongated drying chamber, a spray nozzle assembly at an upper end of the drying chamber and a filter element housing and powder collection chamber at a lower end of the drying chamber. The filter element housing comprises a plurality of cylindrical filter elements supported from a wall of an exhaust chamber that communicates with an exhaust gas outlet of the filter element housing. In one embodiment, the filter element housing includes an inner downwardly opening cylindrical shroud surrounding the filter elements which defines an outer annular powder and drying gas passageway communicating with the powder collection chamber, and the exhaust chamber is defined by a downwardly opening conical plenum having an outer conical surface for directing drying gas and powder about the shroud into the powder collection chamber. Filter elements each have a respective reverse gas pulse cleaning device.
SPRAY DRYER SYSTEM AND METHOD
A spray drying system for drying liquid into powder including an elongated body and a closure arrangement at opposite upper and lower ends of the elongated body for forming a drying chamber within the elongated body. One of the closure arrangements including a drying gas inlet for introducing drying gas into the drying chamber. A spray nozzle assembly is supported in one of the closure arrangements. The lower end closure arrangement including a powder collection vessel for collecting powder dried in the drying chamber. The powder collection vessel is configured such that a blanketing gas may be directed into the interior of the powder collection vessel to blanket the powder in the powder collection chamber and thereby protect the powder from exposure to the drying gas from the drying chamber.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING AN ATOMIZED SPRAY
The disclosure concerns a device for dispensing an atomized spray of a cosmetic composition. The device is capable of individual or commercial use, and provides yaw and pitch actuation of an operational head, along with the atomized spray to deliver the cosmetic composition to the body of a user. Electronics are configured to acquire data from a disposable spray bottle assembly, and approximate remaining volume or spray time according to the data. A linear laser provides guidance to the user for standing in order to receive optimal spray coverage.
SPRAY BOTTLE ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH AN ATOMIZED-SPRAY DISPENSING DEVICE
The disclosure concerns a spray bottle assembly for use with an atomized-spray dispensing device. The spray bottle assembly generally includes a bottle containing an amount of cosmetic composition, a release mechanism having a port associated therewith, an insert with an insert lumen configured to engage the port for communicating the cosmetic composition therethrough, a nozzle for configuring a stream of the cosmetic composition expelled from the spray bottle assembly, a mixing chamber for mixing compressed air with the stream of the cosmetic composition, and a spray aperture for communicating atomized spray. The spray bottle assembly is designed for use with equipment having corresponding release elements for engaging the insert and release mechanism of the bottle.
AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE
An aerosol generating device includes: a housing; a first printed circuit board arranged to extend along one surface of the housing; and a second printed circuit board arranged in the housing, and on which a processor configured to generate a control signal is mounted, the second printed circuit board extending in a direction crossing a direction in which the one surface of the housing extends.
Atomizing nozzle device, atomizing process and use
The invention relates to a new atomizing device with improved droplet formation. Smaller droplets are formed with increased micronized volume throughput, wherein high volumes of air are fed to a liquid sprayed from a liquid nozzle (2). High volume ratios result in mean free path between droplets being conveyed so as to minimize collisions and to prevent aggregation of the droplet.
Multi-fluid nozzles
A fuel cell nozzle includes a fuel circuit receiver configured to receive a fuel circuit and an air circuit. At least a portion of the air circuit is integrally formed with the fuel circuit receiver. The nozzle can further include a base portion that is configured to interface with a fuel cell. The fuel circuit receiver and the air circuit can extend from the base portion.
Easy-to-clean spray gun, accessories therefor, and mounting and dismounting methods
A spray gun includes a one-piece main body, a trigger, a paint needle operating element coupled to the trigger, a paint needle coupled to the paint needle operating element, and an exchangeable spray agent guiding unit, the inlet region of which is or can be connected to a material supply device for the material to be sprayed, wherein the main body has at least one opening for receiving the exchangeable spray agent directing unit. Also disclosed is a material supply device, a cover, a method for mounting an exchangeable spray agent guiding unit in or on a spray gun having a one-piece main body, and a method for removing an exchangeable spray agent directing unit from or out of a one-piece spray gun.
