The specification and drawings present a robotic coating application system and a method for coating at least one part with a robotic coating application system. The robotic coating application system may comprise an enclosure configured to receive at least one part. The robotic coating application system may further comprise at least one robot configured to operate at least partially within the enclosure. The robotic coating application system may also comprise a graphical user interface to display a model of the at least one part and allow a user to select a portion or subportion of the model for application of a coating. The coating may be automatically applied to the at least one part based upon, at least in part, the user-selected portion or subportion.

The sealing element is configured so that it forms an axially acting sealing surface and a radially acting sealing surface with the body and/or the attachment when the attachment is arranged in body. An attachment, in particular a paint nozzle arrangement for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, and a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun can each have such a sealing element. Due to the axially acting sealing surface and the radially acting sealing surface, the sealing element provides a significantly improved sealing effect relative to sealing elements of the prior art.

The system includes a spray assembly for depositing the chemical, a substrate for collecting the one or more components forming the chemical, and an enclosure for housing the substrate and the spray assembly. The spray assembly includes a capillary for receiving and ejecting a fluid containing the one or more components, a nozzle for receiving and ejecting a gas towards both the substrate and the fluid when the fluid is ejected from the capillary, and a spray heater for heating the capillary and the gas. The enclosure includes a translatable drawer for supporting and translating the substrate. The system further includes a substrate heater for heating the substrate.

The spray gun connection portion comprises a nozzle assembly sealing surface adapted to seal the liquid spray gun nozzle assembly to the compatible liquid spray gun body, the nozzle assembly sealing surface comprising first and second sealing members that are each circular and concentric with one another.

A nozzle arrangement for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, has at least one paint nozzle and an air cap. The paint nozzle has at least one outlet opening for the material to be sprayed and the air cap has at least one central opening which is bounded by at least one wall. The at least one wall forms a gap with at least one part of the paint nozzle, and a forward part of the paint nozzle has at least an inner face, an outer face and an end face. The end face of the paint nozzle encloses, at least in certain regions, an angle of greater than 90° or an angle of less than 90° with an outer face or an inner face of the paint nozzle. In the nozzle arrangements, the back-pressure counter to the outflow of the material to be sprayed is lower than in prior art nozzles. A spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, having such a nozzle arrangement is also disclosed.

HANDHELD TEXTURE SPRAY GUN WITH HOPPER

A sprayer includes a spray gun and a hopper. An air source provides compressed air to the sprayer to both eject fluid from the spray gun as a spray and to pressurize the hopper. The spray gun includes passages for providing compressed air to the nozzle for spraying and to the hopper for pressurizing the hopper. The spray gun further includes a relief valve for venting pressurized air from the hopper. The hopper receives the compressed air through a port in the hopper, and the compressed air assists the flow of material out of the hopper and into the spray gun.
