A spray device includes side-by-side spray tips that are spaced from one another at a distal end of the spray device. A first spray tip has a first fluid pathway defining a first flow area. The first fluid pathway has a first swirl chamber having an outer perimeter and flutes having inner ends that direct a first fluid into the outer perimeter of the first swirl chamber for rotating the first fluid in a circular pattern. A second spray tip has a second fluid pathway that defines a second flow area that is larger than the first flow area. The second fluid pathway has a second swirl chamber having an outer perimeter and flutes having inner ends that direct a second fluid into the outer perimeter of the second swirl chamber for rotating the second fluid in a circular pattern.

The invention relates to a method for mixing at least two fluids using an externally mixing nozzle for medical purposes, which has at least two outlet channels (10, 20) and at least two inlet openings (13, 23) with different or identical cross-sections, wherein two fluids with different volumetric flows and/or different viscosity are sprayed, and wherein the ratio of the cross-sections of the inlet channels (13, 23) and/or the outlet channels (10, 20) corresponds to the ratio of the volumetric flows so that the fluids flow with substantially identical flow speeds through the outlet channels (10, 20) and/or the inlet openings (13, 23). The invention furthermore relates to an externally mixing nozzle, a medical instrument and a medical device for spraying substances, in particular biological material.

The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.

A two part adhesive spray system is provided herein. This system provides numerous enhancements to the prior art including limiting overspray fog, saving on sprayed material because of a more efficient spray pattern, and providing a more efficient bond than that of the prior art. In particular, the present invention provides a spray pattern having both adhesive and activator. The activator is sprayed in a smaller spray area than the adhesive, which is sprayed on a larger area. As such, when sprayed on a substrate, the activator provides a rapid tack to hold a second adhered material to the substrate sufficient to hold it in place while the remainder of the adhesive dries and/or cures.

Rotating joint and painting machine

A paint spraying machine includes an apparatus for containing and removing the leakage of paint drops from a rotating joint, without the risk of damaging the article being sprayed, and thus without the need for downtime to replace sealing elements. The rotating joint includes a hollow shaft for distributing paint, a drum including a plurality of flanges that define separate chambers for different paints, a plurality of seals for separating the different paints in the different chambers which together form a high-pressure circuit, a low-pressure circuit to refrigerate the seals, improve their sealing and possibly intercept leaking paint, and a plurality of centering rings provide for correct assembly of the seals and the correct alignment of different flanges. The rings are hollow, and allow for the passage of the refrigerating/cleaning liquid under low pressure. A method for operating the machine includes containing and removing the leakage of paint drops from a rotating joint and distributing them back to the supplying tank of the refrigerating/cleaning liquid.

Improved two phase chemical reactions (liquid-liquid or liquid-gas) are provided by forming microdroplets of either or both liquid reagents and configuring the reaction as a collision between the microdroplet reagent and the other reagent. We have found that this approach can provide high reaction yields in short times (<1 s) without the use of a phase transfer catalyst.

A mist-generating device includes: a droplet generating unit that generates, in a third liquid, a functional droplet including a first liquid that is spherical and a second liquid that covers an entirety of the first liquid and has a volatility lower than a volatility of the first liquid; and a mist-generating unit that generates a multilayer mist obtained by atomizing the third liquid containing the functional droplet.

Process and device for quick dry and or rapid set aqueous external coatings

A device and process for applying a quick dry rapid set aqueous solution. An indicator of a selected color and composition is added to an accelerator to be applied along with a resin. The tinted color indicator is typically blue and allows the user to determine if the proper mixture is being applied. The indicator is visible only during application and disappears after application. The resin and accelerator are applied using an airless spray mechanism with delivery systems and spray gun. The spray gun has 2 nozzles and the capability to set the angle between the nozzles.
