Proportioning pump, control systems and applicator apparatus

An absolute proportioning pumping system includes an electric motor assembly powering a first pump at a first flow rate and powering a second pump at a second flow rate. A proportioned fluid output includes a first fluid pumped by the first pump and a second fluid pumped by the second pump. The pumping system provides a desired ratio of the first fluid to the second fluid at the proportioned fluid output, relatively independently of pressure and flow rate at the output. In accord with further embodiments, a pump and motor assembly is mounted to and generally surrounded by a liquid tank. The pump and motor assembly may include a pair of fixed ratio outputs driven from a common motor, or may include a single variable output pump either slaved to a master pump or controlled through a timed bypass valve to control output flow rate.

Device for rotating a fluid inside a spray nozzle, assembly comprising such a device and coating device

A device for rotating a fluid inside a spray nozzle includes a body defining at least one helical slot and/or a helical hole for the passage of all or part of the fluid. This device can be secured to a spray nozzle or a needle valve closing the spray nozzle. An application device includes such a device for rotating a fluid inside a spray nozzle.

DISPENSING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING AN ADDITIVE MIXING DEVICE

A dispensing system (2000), includes a container (900) containing a flowable base formulation (910) to be dispensed, an additive mixing device (2004), and an actuable pump engine (2002) which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body (2022) with an internal cavity (2052), an additive ingredient (2054) within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber (2058) between an input and an output. With each pump of the device (2004) the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices (2004) may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

Method and System for Providing Nutrients to a Plant

Methods and systems for providing nutrients to a plant are provided herein in which a feed solution containing water and solubilized nutrients are delivered to the plant at a desired ratio of concentration of water to fertilizer at each watering event in order to provide the plant with a consistent water to mineral ratio within their vascular system.

METHOD FOR MONITORING AND/OR CONTROLLING A DEPLOYMENT PROCESS OF A SPRAY LIQUID AT A SPRAY NOZZLE UNIT

A method is provided for monitoring and/or controlling a deployment process of a spray liquid having a defined active agent concentration at at least one spray nozzle unit of a spray device for deploying the spray liquid for agricultural purposes. The method includes: receiving at least one property signal including a piece of property information of the spray liquid detected with the aid of a sensor unit of the spray device in a through-flow area of the spray nozzle unit, an active agent concentration in the spray liquid being ascertainable using the property information; and outputting an information signal to a display unit and/or a control signal to the spray nozzle unit as a function of the received property information of the spray liquid and/or of an active agent concentration in the spray liquid ascertained using the property information, in order to monitor and/or to control the deployment process.
