PUMP DISPENSER
A pump dispenser having a bottle with a neck and a pump assembly. The pump assembly includes an actuator, a closure connected to the actuator and coupled to the neck of the bottle, a dip tube, and a dual chamber pump. The dual chamber pump includes a piston assembly, a sealing cap, and a housing, which includes a pump chamber, a storage chamber having a cavity, and a core. The sealing cap is rigidly connected to the core and closes the storage chamber at a lower portion such that the substance to be released remains stored in the storage chamber cavity. When the actuator is pushed down for a first time by a user, a piston assembly moves to push down a connecting stem, which pushes down the sealing cap to open the storage chamber for releasing the substance contained in the storage chamber from the bottle.
CHILD RESISTANT AEROSOL ACTUATOR
The actuator includes a shroud adapted to be situated on an aerosol container over the stem and an actuation member mounted on and moveable within the shroud to depress the stem by the application of an external force applied to the top surface of the actuation member. The actuation member includes a nozzle and a conduit for connecting the stem and the nozzle. A hood is normally positioned to block the actuation member from being moved to depress the stem. A locking member normally intersects the path of movement of the hood to lock the hood in its blocking position. The locking member has two sections both of which must be simultaneously moved to a position remote from the path of hood movement such that the hood may be moved from its blocking position, allowing the actuation member to be moved to depress the stem.
Foam Pump Actuator with Folding Nozzle Suitable for E-Commerce
An actuator for a hand operated foam dispensing pump that utilizes a folding nozzle is presented. The folding nozzle of the actuator is configured so as to lock the actuator in place and prevent operation of the pump when the nozzle is folded. The actuator substantially reduces pump closure loosening (back-off) and nozzle breakage during shipping of a filled product by eliminating trigger handles or other conventional nozzle types which protrude from the side of the actuator. As such, the new actuator is particularly well-suited for use in e-commerce where the shipping of unboxed products is becoming increasingly common. The actuator is configured such that actuator depression (actuation) cannot occur when the folding nozzle is in a folded position.
Hand Pump with Folding Nozzle
A hand pump design that utilizes an actuator with a folding nozzle suitable for use in e-commerce is presented. The folding nozzle equipped pump actuator forms part of a hand pump assembly which incorporates a pump body assembly comprising upper and lower pump bodies and a sliding collar which controls the inlet of fluid to be dispensed into fluid passages in the pump assembly and subsequently into the pump actuator. The hand pump further includes upper and lower check balls to prevent back flowing of the fluid to be dispensed into the dispenser bottle.
DISPENSING DEVICE FOR DISPENSING LIQUIDS OR FLUIDS IN GENERAL
The present invention concerns a dispensing device (100) for dispensing a liquid or fluid held in a container (C). The device (100) comprises: an engagement portion (101) for mutually engaging the device (100) and the container; drawing and dispensing means (102) suited to draw the fluid or liquid from the container (C) and then dispense it; a hollow operating cap (103) for operating the drawing and dispensing means (102); a dispensing nozzle or spout (104) provided with a dispensing duct (105) fixed to the operating cap (103). The dispensing nozzle or spout (104) can be switched through a rotary movement between a first dispensing position and a second non-dispensing position. The operating cap (103) and the dispensing nozzle or spout (104) are shaped in such a way as to respectively define a first stop surface (107) and a second stop surface (108); in the dispensing position the first and the second stop surfaces (107, 108) are arranged against each other.
Nasal douche with valve that can be actuated by respiratory air
A nasal douche having a valve, container part and cap part, wherein the container part serves to receive irrigation liquid and carries cap part. The cap part has a nose attachment with an outlet opening for irrigation liquid connected fluidically to interior of container part via discharge channel, wherein nose attachment is intended to be attached to a nostril of the user. The container part or cap part is assigned a mouthpiece for controlling the valve, wherein the valve is closed in a rest position and flow of irrigation liquid out through the nose attachment is thus suppressed, and wherein the valve can be brought to an open position, under the action of respiratory air when the user blows into the mouthpiece, and irrigation liquid thus flows out through the nose attachment, wherein respiratory air or ambient air flows into the container part to allow the outward flow.
Device for storing and dispensing a material and method of making such a device
A device for dispensing a dental material comprises a container for containing the material and an outlet which is closed by a closure. A breakable seal is arranged between the closure and the container. The device further is operable between a storage position in which the outlet is closed and an operational position in which the outlet is open. An initial operation toward the operational position causes the seal to break, whereby the closure is captured in the device. The device may provide a relatively long shelf life for the material, and may facilitate preparation of the material for use.
Nozzle Assembly and Method for Fluid Dispensing
A fluid delivery system for dispensing fluid can include a dispenser, such as a trigger engine-type dispenser, configured to draw fluid up from a container. A nozzle assembly can include a nozzle, and a nozzle slide. The nozzle slide can be configured to slide and/or rotate relative to the shroud to provide different dispensing modes. In alternative examples, the nozzle can be configured to rotate in 30 degree increments relative to the shroud to provide the different dispensing modes or the nozzle assembly can include a nozzle extension, and the nozzle extension can be configured to rotate relative to the shroud to provide different dispensing patterns out of the nozzle. In another example a first nozzle can be configured to provide one or more dispensing modes, and a second nozzle can be configured to provide a different dispensing mode than the first nozzle. Methods of dispensing fluids and methods of assembling fluid dispensers are also disclosed.
Sprayers, dispensers, and methods for using the same
Dispensing systems (100) having wands (110) for distributing a spray away from a user include moveable wands (110), wands for locking actuation of the dispensing system (210), wands and dispensers providing gravity fed dispensing solutions (410) for battery-operated devices (500) and improved dispensers.
HAIR DENSIFYING AGENT AND DISPENSER
Compositions adapted for use as a hair densifying agent are presented, as well as embodiments of a dispenser for dispensing the composition. A hair densifying system includes a dispenser adapted for dispensing a hair densifying agent with a hair densifying agent disposed therein, the system is substantially as described. The compositions can also be used to modify the color balance in a user's hair.
