DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A FLUID PRODUCT, AND METHOD FOR PRIMING SAME
Fluid product device having a dispenser joined to a reservoir containing fluid product, the dispenser having a pump body containing a dosing chamber, and a dispensing head with a dispensing aperture, a plunger secured to the dispensing head to slide in the dosing chamber between rest and actuation positions. The dosing chamber has at least two openings, a first opening for filling the dosing chamber and a second opening connecting the dosing chamber to the dispensing aperture. The first opening is made in a cylindrical portion of the pump body in which said plunger slides during actuation, the first opening connecting the dosing chamber to the reservoir when the plunger is in the rest position and isolating the dosing chamber from the reservoir when the plunger moves out of its rest position. The dosing chamber is filled through the first opening when the dispenser is joined to the reservoir.
Foam pump utilizing a compression spring assembly
A foam dispenser utilizing components made from the same or similar materials that can be recycled in a single recycling process or stream includes a plastic spring system acting on spring cones formed in a piston rod and an accumulator, an air valve having multiple flanges to facilitate the flow of air into and out of the foam dispenser, and a liquid piston configured to improve the control of liquid flow through the foam dispenser and which is more easily manufactured.
HIGH VOLUME DISPENSING PUMP WITH SHORTENED AXIAL TRAVEL
A food and beverage reciprocating dispenser relies upon an external engine to shorten the axial travel and spring force required for actuation. This enables the delivery of more accurate and consistent dose volumes. The resulting pump has bore ratios that are improved by an order of magnitude in comparison to conventional designs.
SINGLE-POLYMER DISPENSER FOR VISCOUS FLUIDS AND OILS
A reciprocating pump particularly well suited to dispensing oils, creams, and other viscous fluids is contemplated. All components of the pump are fabricated from a single polymer, such as polypropylene or high density polyethylene. The stem of the pump includes a three-piece sealing assembly with a piston that floats in response to the reciprocating action of the pump so as to selectively open or seal the dispensed fluid flow path, as well as return air provided to the internal volume of the container to which the pump is attached.
Pre-compression valve systems for trigger sprayers
Pre-compression valve systems for trigger sprayers include one-piece valve systems having both check and pre-compression valves or multiple component valve systems. The pre-compression valve is positioned in a vertical cylinder, and may have a flat, concave, or convex surface.
Ring for a device for dispensing a fluid product
A ring for arranging around a valve body of a fluid dispenser valve that is mounted by a fastener capsule, such as a crimpable capsule, on a reservoir containing fluid to be dispensed. The ring is made as a single piece including at least one inner portion that co-operates with the valve body, and a radial flange that forms a neck gasket that extends between the neck of the reservoir and the fastener capsule.
Fluid dispenser
A dispensing system includes a pump mechanism that has a liquid chamber, a liquid piston for delivering fluid to a mixing chamber, and a valve component biased to close the outlet from the liquid chamber. The pump mechanism also has an air chamber, and an air piston for delivering air to the mixing chamber. A bore allows passage of a mixture of the air and the liquid from the mixing chamber to a dispensing tube. A pump actuator moves the air piston and the liquid piston to propel a dose of the mixture of the air and the liquid through the bore and into the dispensing tube and to collapse a draw-back chamber. The draw-back chamber expands to draw the mixture of the air and the liquid from the dispensing tube into the draw-back chamber. The valve component is biased to close the first outlet before the draw-back chamber expands.
Press-type liquid pump
The present invention relates to a press-type liquid pump. The liquid pump comprises a fixed unit fixed relative to a container and a movable unit capable of performing a reciprocating motion relative to the fixed unit, and a liquid product is pumped to the exterior of the container. The reciprocating motion is achieved by a pressing force applied by a user to the movable unit to move the movable unit relative to the fixed unit in combination with an elastic restoring means for restoring the movable unit relative to the fixed unit after the pressing force is removed. The elastic restoring means is a plastic elastic compressing means located below a toothed sleeve and installed between the fixed unit and the movable unit, which comprises at least one elastic strip generally formed in an arc shape.
Spray pump
A spray pump comprising a small piston and an upper pump rod with a liquid accumulation cavity is provided. The upper pump rod is provided with a liquid discharge hole communicates with the liquid accumulation cavity, and the small piston is provided with a sealing column for sealing the liquid discharge hole. A central column is provided with an ejector rod extending into the liquid discharge hole, and a liquid flow gap is disposed between the ejector rod and the liquid discharge hole. A central hole communicates with the liquid discharge hole is disposed at a central part of the central column, and a press head with a lower part being fixed with the central column. A press plate is fixed with the upper pump rod, and a press gap is disposed between an upper side of the press plate and a lower side of the press head.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR ISOLATING A NOZZLE OF A VESSEL
An apparatus for isolating a nozzle having an outer end extending externally from a vessel and an inner end opening into the interior of the vessel comprises: a rod comprising proximal and distal ends; an umbrella comprising an end member and a canopy; an actuation portion configured to actuate the umbrella between a retracted position comprising the first angle and a protracted position comprising a second angle, wherein the second angle is greater than the first angle and the umbrella is capable of being translated through the nozzle at the first angle and is not capable of being translated through the nozzle at the second angle; and an engagement surface defined on a leading edge of the canopy, the engagement surface configured to form a seal against an interior wall of the vessel when the umbrella is in the protracted position.
