Multi-cartridge drain guns, accessories therefor, and methods of use and manufacture thereof
A drain gun includes a handle and a trigger. The handle includes a channel and a plurality of inlets. The inlets feed the channel. The trigger causes a staged release of a plurality of fluids from a plurality of cartridges to the channel via the inlets when the cartridges are stored in the handle and feeding the inlets.
FLUID APPLICATOR
A fluid applicator configured to receive a pressurized fluid includes a pressure vessel configured to receive the pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line. The pressure vessel includes a valve chamber configured to receive a valve assembly, a filter chamber configured to receive a filter assembly, and a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line. The fluid applicator further including a tip assembly coupled to the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid.
LIQUID SPRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SPRAYING
A liquid spray system (100) comprises a housing (110), a spray applicator (120) and an air pressurising device (130). The housing (110) comprises a retaining section (140) to receive a receptacle (200), the receptacle (200) comprising a flexible body (201, 202) having a reservoir (204) comprising a liquid for spraying, and a liquid outlet (205) in fluid communication with the reservoir (204). The retaining section (140) also comprises a receptacle compressor (170) configured to apply a compressive force to the flexible body (201, 202) to force liquid from the liquid outlet (205) of the receptacle (200). The spray applicator (120) is disposed remotely from the housing and in fluid communication with the liquid outlet of the receptacle (200). The air pressurising device (130) is in fluid communication with the spray applicator (120) to propel the liquid from the spray applicator (120).
Dual spray pattern nozzles
An applicator having a housing and a nozzle is described, the nozzle being convertible from a first geometric shape to a different second geometric shape by an operator snapping the exterior tip off the nozzle, thereby exposing an interior tip.
Hose end sprayers and methods of manufacturing the same
A dispensing system including a hose-end-sprayer having a sprayer body assembled with a selected valve having a lever to selectively operate the hose-end-sprayer and a shipping clip capable of retaining the valve in a closed position during shipping; methods for manufacturing and assembling the same using a single sprayer body with multiple valve configurations.
Spray gun for spraying paints and other coatings
A spray gun includes a gun body and a handle removably connected to the gun body. A filter is disposed in the handle for filtering particulate from the spray fluid. A trigger guard is connected to the handle and gun body and includes a contour on a lower portion of the trigger guard for receiving one or more fingers of the user that are not interfacing with and contacting the trigger. The trigger guard can be disconnected from the gun body and rotated relative to the handle. The trigger guard can contact a portion of the handle and exert torque on the handle to connect the handle to and disconnect the handle from the gun body. The portion of the handle at least partially covers a fitting connecting to the handle to provide spray fluid to the spray gun.
SPRAY GUN AND COMPONENTS FOR SPRAYING PAINTS AND OTHER COATINGS
A spray gun includes a valve cartridge configured to be axially installed and removed as a single piece. The valve cartridge includes the wear components of the spray gun. A trigger of the spray gun is configured to actuate a slider of the valve cartridge to control spraying by the spray gun. The trigger can slide between a spray position, where the trigger prevents forward axial movement of the valve cartridge, and a repair position, where the valve cartridge can move axially forward.
Blower spray device
A blower spray device is provided having a housing which comprises an electrically driven blower and a spray nozzle, and having a liquid supply line opening into the spray nozzle. The housing has a funnel-shaped intake channel and a tubular blow-out channel, and an electrical valve is provided in the liquid supply line to activate and deactivate the liquid supply to the spray nozzle. An electronic controller having a regulating unit for the electric blower is further provided to adjust the air flow velocity.
LOW PRESSURE PLURAL COMPONENT FOAM SPRAY SYSTEM
A method and apparatus for applying a foamed mixture of paints on a structural surface. A continuous stream of high velocity gas moves through a nozzle and is directed toward the structural surface, and two or more paints may be intermittently moved into the gas stream of the nozzle and aerated and mixed with each other and moved with the gas stream to form a foam that is applied to the structural surface. The components of the foamed mixture may include single component or plural component materials such as polyurethane foam, adhesive, and polyurea formulations, and may be moved through a volumetric metering device consisting of material heaters, a heated hose, and an applicator gun. The nitrogen gas stream fluidizes the mixture as it passes through and out of the nozzle and forms the mixture into a foam that is applied to the structural surface.
Pressure washer safely lock
A pressure washer gun is provided including a safety locking feature that may inhibit unintentional actuation. In an embodiment, the pressure washer gun may include a body portion, and a hand grip portion extending from the body portion. A trigger may be disposed adjacent to the hand grip portion and coupled with a flow control valve for controlling the flow of high pressure fluid through the pressure washer gun. A safety lock may be pivotally coupled with the hand grip portion for movement between a locked position inhibiting movement of the trigger to open the flow control valve, and an unlocked position allowing movement of the trigger to open the flow control valve, the safety lock being biased toward the locked position.
