The switch is communicatively coupled to the float system through a wall of the material tank, and the switch is configured to send one or more signals to a control system when the float engages the switch.

Coating device for applying coating agent in a controlled manner

The disclosure concerns a coating device for coating components with a coating agent, in particular for painting motor vehicle body components with a paint, with a printhead for applying the coating agent to the component, and with a coating agent supply for supplying the printhead with the coating agent to be applied, wherein the coating agent flows from the coating agent supply to the printhead at a specific coating agent pressure and a specific flow rate. The disclosure provides that the coating supply will control the coating agent pressure and/or the flow rate of the coating agent. Furthermore, the disclosure includes an associated operating method.

CLOG RESISTANT PRESSURE COMPENSATING NOZZLE FOR DRIP IRRIGATION
20210321582 · 2021-10-21 ·

A clog resistant in-line irrigation emitter or nozzle assembly having an emitter structure designed to be inserted into an extruded tube as part of a drip irrigation system. The nozzle assemblies take the high pressure and flow inside the tube and produce a desired flowrate (selectable depending on the requirements of the environment). The emitter of the present disclosure has a higher efficiency than traditional pivot or sprinkler systems or known emitter devices. The emitters not only provide the appropriate pressure attenuation; they resist clogging from the grit and debris in available ground water. The clog resistant in-line irrigation emitter gives a greater pressure attenuation for its physical dimensions than comparable devices and provides an optimal design of a pressure compensating device that improves diaphragm performance. The instant disclosure does allow for the pressure compensation device to be used with various embodiments of a pressure reducing components.

FLOW REGULATING PUMP, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
20210172435 · 2021-06-10 ·

A regulator pump provides disconnects an inflow from an outflow, such that a downstream pressure is unaffected by an upstream pressure. The regulator pump receives a fluid through an input valve, while an output valve remains in a closed position. The fluid continues to flow to the regulator pump until the regulator pump is full. With the regulator pump filled with the fluid, the inlet valve shifts to a closed position, thereby isolating the regulator pump chamber from the fluid source. The regulator pump drives the fluid downstream to an applicator with the inlet valve closed. The regulator pump fully isolates the upstream fluid from the downstream fluid such that the upstream pressure has no effect on the downstream pressure.

Shower jet generating device having an overpressure valve
11014102 · 2021-05-25 · ·

A shower jet generating device for a shower head, illustratively for a sanitary shower head, including a shower jet disk delimiting a fluid chamber on an outlet side and including at least one jet outlet opening leading out of the fluid chamber and at least one overpressure valve opening, and comprising at least one overpressure valve disposed on the overpressure valve opening. The overpressure valve illustratively includes an overpressure outlet opening leading out of the fluid chamber, an immobile valve seat and a valve body capable of movement controlled by a fluid pressure in the fluid chamber and interacting with the valve seat, which valve body, in a normal pressure position, rests against the valve seat, thereby closing the overpressure outlet opening, and, in an overpressure position, is lifted off the valve seat, thereby exposing the overpressure outlet opening.

Pressure regulator

A pressure regulator for controlling flow of a fluid therethrough is provided. An upper housing member and a primary diaphragm define an upper chamber and a lower housing member and the primary diaphragm define a lower chamber. The pressure regulator further includes: a valve assembly provided within the upper chamber for controlling the flow of the fluid from an inlet body into the upper chamber; a secondary diaphragm provided within the lower chamber and defining a secondary diaphragm driving chamber; and a passageway connecting the inlet body and the secondary diaphragm driving chamber. During operation, the secondary diaphragm driving chamber is filled with the fluid at the inlet pressure, thereby subjecting the secondary diaphragm to the inlet pressure and generating the force for actuating the valve's disengagement from the inlet body. The pressure regulator functions to maintain the outlet pressure at a value that is a predetermined fraction of the inlet pressure.

Flow monitoring and error detection in a mobile liquid agricultural product applicator

An error detection and flow rate monitoring system of a liquid fertilizer distribution system of an agricultural implement that can provide feedback to identify compromised flow states in the system and corresponding locations of potential blockage or component failure. The system may include pressure sensors that may be evaluated in pairs or otherwise analyzed comparatively to determine flow rate or other characteristics through nozzle assemblies. The pressure sensors may be mounted in the wet boom between the rows. A control system compares the pressure values before and after each row to determine the pressure drop across its nozzle assembly and may further use the pressure drop values to determine flow or application rates and corresponding errors in the pressure drop, flow rate, and application rate compared to their acceptable values and may provide feedback to identify a specific location(s) of potential blockage or flow-control component failure.

PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR DISPENSING AND CHARGING GAS TO A STORAGE VESSEL
20210048148 · 2021-02-18 · ·

A valve assembly and process are disclosed that permit charging and dispensing gas from a storage vessel through one passage and one nozzle. Only one passage is in communication with the pressurized gas in the storage vessel which focuses safety measures on a single passage. Gas is passed through a single regulator to dispense gas from the storage vessel and to charge the storage vessel. The regulator utilizes a diaphragm which when pressurized by a separate fluid permits passage through the regulator. This separate fluid does not have access to the interior of the storage vessel.
