PRESSURE REGULATOR

A pressure regulator for controlling flow of a fluid therethrough is provided. An upper housing member and a primary diaphragm define an upper chamber and a lower housing member and the primary diaphragm define a lower chamber. The pressure regulator further includes: a valve assembly provided within the upper chamber for controlling the flow of the fluid from an inlet body into the upper chamber; a secondary diaphragm provided within the lower chamber and defining a secondary diaphragm driving chamber; and a passageway connecting the inlet body and the secondary diaphragm driving chamber. During operation, the secondary diaphragm driving chamber is filled with the fluid at the inlet pressure, thereby subjecting the secondary diaphragm to the inlet pressure and generating the force for actuating the valve's disengagement from the inlet body. The pressure regulator functions to maintain the outlet pressure at a value that is a predetermined fraction of the inlet pressure.

A scrubber filter assembly including: a shaft mounted in an interior passage of a housing and configured to reciprocally move within the housing; a water outlet coupling on a side of the shaft which extends through a slot in the housing wherein the outlet coupling moves reciprocally within the slot as the shaft moves reciprocally, an inlet at a distal end of the shaft and the inlet extends into a water passage within the collar, wherein the inlet includes an outer surface having a filter configured to allow water to enter the inlet and prevent debris entering the water passage; and an edge extending around the perimeter of the outer surface of the inlet, wherein the edge is fixed to the collar, and the edge is configured to scrape debris from the filter as the inlet moves reciprocally with the shaft.

SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING A FLUID SUBSTANCE

A dispensing system includes a container for a fluid substance having a hollow stem and dispensing means for feeding the pressurised substance thereto. A cap includes a base body including a first seat for coupling to the stem, the base body partially defining a conduit presenting a first end in fluid communication with the seat and a second end coupled with a spray nozzle. A pressure regulator regulates passage of the substance according to the pressure in the stem to reduce passage due to an increase in pressure in the cavity and increase the passage otherwise, in order to maintain an essentially constant pressure downstream of the regulator even in the presence of variable upstream pressure. A valve element on the conduit between the regulator and the nozzle may close the conduit when the pressure present inside the latter is below a predetermined threshold and open the conduit otherwise.

A flow path member includes a film, a main body that includes a recess portion that is closed by the film, a first opening and a second opening that are provided in the recess portion and used to supply and emit a liquid, and a wall which is provided in the recess portion. The film and the wall are configured to switch between contact and non-contact between the film and the main body according as the film displaces. In a first direction, the wall is provided around the first opening, the wall has a first slit in one of two portions of the wall across the first opening from each other and a second slit in the other one of the two portions, and the second opening is outside the wall. An opening area of the first slit is larger than an opening area of the second slit.

Fluid-operated nozzle

A nozzle for spraying a pressurized liquid. The nozzle is adapted for processing a pressurized liquid through an orifice of the nozzle, where the pressurized liquid forces a nozzle member away from a seat. The nozzle member is moved by the pressurized liquid against a counterforce produced by a gas pressure. Gas pressure operates against a plunger to produce a force acting on the nozzle member in opposition to the liquid pressure. A desired upstream pressure of the pressurized liquid is established when the forces across the movable nozzle member are balanced. A desired upstream pressure of the pressurized liquid can be changed by changing the pressure of the gas that forces the plunger against the movable nozzle member.

ATTACHMENT AND SYSTEM FOR MIXING AND DISPENSING A CHEMICAL AND DILUENT

A container can be configured for use with an attachment for mixing and dispensing a solution. The container can include an outlet opening for flow out of the container, and a container valve that is configured to control the flow out of the outlet opening. A neck of the container can be oblong, can include a first attachment flange and a second attachment flange, or can include a first attachment shelf and a second attachment shelf.

Method for flow control calibration of high-transient systems

A method of controlling a flow rate includes selecting an operating condition defined by an operating flow rate and an operating pressure, comparing the operating flow rate to a threshold flow rate, and executing an adaptive calibration routing if the operating flow rate is greater than or equal to the threshold flow rate. The adaptive calibration routine includes measuring the operating pressure, measuring a first flow rate through a first meter, and modifying a pressure-flow table based on the operating pressure and the first flow rate.

A pressure regulation device and method are provided for reducing fluid flow. The device may be disposed within a stem of a sprinkler, within the nozzle filter or other appropriate location within the sprinkler. The device may be a single piece structure that is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer material. The device has a body with slots that form sidewalls, which are configured to move relative to each other and deflect relative to a neutral state. The amount of movement relative to each other from the neutral state causes a reduction in pressure of the fluid exiting the regulator.

Pump device and methods for making the same

Bellow actuated pump devices for dispensing a product from a container may include a bellow and a base or a bellow, a base, and a valve having two or more valves wherein actuation of the bellow opens a discharge portion of the valve and dispenses a product and the de-actuation of the bellow opens an intake portion of the valve and refills the pump for the next actuation.
