POWDER COATING (ELECTROSTATIC PAINTING) METHOD AND PLANT FOR NON ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE ELEMENTS, AND IN PARTICULAR BRAKE PADS
20190084001 · 2019-03-21 ·

A method and system for powder coating non electrically conductive elements, preferably brake pads. A pre-treatment station is upstream of an electrostatic powder coating deposition station and a baking station for melting and polymerizing the powder coating in order to form a coating layer on a surface to be coated. The pre-treatment station causes the elements to be coated to conduct electrically by uniformly wetting said elements by means of creating poorly mineralized water covalent bonds on at least one surface to be coated, in an amount aimed at producing a measurable weight increase in the non electrically conductive elements, which then causes them to conduct electrically. The water adsorbed and/or deposited is subsequently eliminated within the baking station.

SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING AND DISPENSING HEATED FOOD MATERIAL

System for conveying and dispensing material may include a heated supply of the material, one or more heated hoses, a heated dispenser, and a pump having a heating device internal the pump. A pump for conveying liquid or liquefied material, for example chocolate, may include one or more heating devices disposed within the pump. A filter may also be provided with an optional internal heating device.

Digital printing process of a vehicle body

The present invention relates to a painting process whose purpose is to carry out the printing of a digital image provided by a user to a vehicle body through a production line. Printing is achieved through a print head, which injects automotive ink (solvent base/water base) as well as eco-solvent printer ink and UV ink. The print head is instructed to perform a variety of automated operations to develop body painting, through continuous path control. The print head is characterized by having an arm-like structure through which different tools or embossers can be used to make the impression, the head being able to make decisions based on the information coming from the image provided by the user.

INTELLIGENT FLEXIBLE HUB PAINT SPRAYING LINE AND PROCESS

The present disclosure provides an example intelligent flexible hub paint spraying line and process. The equipment comprises a control system, a conveying chain, an on-line area, a wheel type recognition system, a brace recognition system, a spray area, a paint spraying system, a transfer area, an oven, an off-line area and accessory equipment. By combining the multi-color paint spraying system with intelligent recognition, the paint spraying line realizes simultaneous on-line spraying of multiple colored paint hubs, avoids decline of equipment efficiency due to replacement of the paint, avoids classified temporary stacking of hubs to be sprayed in the previous procedure and excessive in-process, breaks through the traditional batch spraying mode, and adapts to current market demands for progressive small batch and customization.

Coating method and coating system having dynamic adaptation of the atomizer rotational speed and the high voltage
10052644 · 2018-08-21 · ·

Exemplary coating methods and coating systems, e.g., for coating the component surface of a component with a coating agent by means of an atomizer in a coating system, for example to paint a body part of a motor vehicle with paint, are disclosed. An exemplary method comprises moving the atomizer over the component surface of the component to be coated, or moving the component in the spray jet, thereby applying the coating agent to the component surface by means of the atomizer. The atomizer may be operated with at least one electrical and/or kinematic operating variable comprising a certain voltage for the electrostatic charging of the coating agent and/or a certain rotational speed of a rotating spray element of the atomizer. In one example, the electrical and/or kinematic operating variable of the atomizer may be dynamically varied during the movement of the atomizer.

Painting method and painting installation for painting a component with a character edge
10046361 · 2018-08-14 · ·

A component is conveyed in a conveyor direction through a painting installation by conveyor. The component surface of the component to be painted is subdivided into surface painting modules which lie one behind the other in the conveyor direction. The individual painting modules of the component surface are painted one after the other using a multi-axis painting robot that has an atomizer. The painting robot guides the atomizer, within each one painting module, along a painting path and across the component surface of the painting module. The painting path has at least one path section running transverse to the component edge. Within the painting module, the painting path can comprise at least one path section that runs substantially parallel to the component edge.
