System and method of one touch registration of three-dimensional scans with an augmented reality enabled mobile computing device

A system for using an augmented reality (AR) enabled mobile computing device for performing one-touch registration of three-dimensional (3D) scans of an environment is provided. The system includes one or more processors, a mobile computing device, and a 3D scanner being movable from a first position to a second position. The processors are responsive to executable instructions which cause the 3D scanner at the first and second positions to determine 3D coordinates of a first and second collection of points on object surfaces in the environment. In addition, the 3D scanner receives an estimated location of the mobile computing device from the mobile device in response to the 3D scanner being in contact with the mobile computing device at the first and second locations. A registration of the first collection of points and the second collection of points is based on the estimated locations of the mobile computing device.

SHEET PRODUCING DEVICE AND SHEET PRODUCING METHOD
20210372774 · 2021-12-02 ·

The present disclosure is a sheet producing device for producing a multi-layer sheet by applying a coating material to a sheet material. The sheet producing device includes a radiation light source that emits radiation light, a division part that divides the radiation light into measurement light to be incident on the multi-layer sheet and reference light with which a reference surface is to be irradiated, and an optical member that emits the measurement light onto the multi-layer sheet and receives the measurement light reflected by the multi-layer sheet. An interference detector that detects interference light between the measurement light reflected by the multi-layer sheet and the reference light reflected by the reference surface, and a thickness calculator that calculates a thickness of the sheet material and a thickness of the coating material of the multi-layer sheet based on the detected interference light are further included. As a result, the tact time from the production of the multi-layer sheet to the calculation of the thickness can be shortened.

UPRIGHT BATTERY POWERED FLOOR STAINING MACHINE
20210370339 · 2021-12-02 ·

An upright device for applying stain to wood floors wherein a user walks behind the device. The device may be battery powered eliminating the need for a cord. A means for holding a gallon of stain is included so that a user may operate the machine continuously while using an entire gallon of stain. Pumps control the movement of stain from the gallon container of stain into three rotary-motion applicator pads: a large round central applicator pad surrounded by two, smaller round applicator pads that may reversibly move about the outer circumference of the large, central applicator pad.

Device for staining or painting planks

A device for staining or painting planks has an enclosure and a plank receiver for guiding a plank into the enclosure. At least one pair of vertical rollers are provided for engaging the plank received in the plank receiver. A lever may be positioned to contact the plank upon exit from the plank receiver. A linkage bar is affixed to the lever and to vertical rollers. Moving the lever by insertion of the plank moves the vertical rollers in preparation for receiving a leading edge of the plank. The vertical rollers are mounted on swing arms for facilitating adjustment of a space between the left vertical rollers and the right vertical rollers for accommodating planks of various thicknesses. Vertical sprayers are pivotally mounted and in communication with the swing arms for pivoting with the vertical rollers for maintaining a constant distance between the vertical rollers and the left vertical sprayer.

DEVICE, METHOD, AND ASSEMBLY FOR LOADING NOZZLES WITH FLUID

A device (3000) for loading fluid into nozzle(s) of a nozzle-bearing body (3070) includes a first member (3010), having a first surface (3016), and a second member (3020) protruding from the first member (3010). The second member (3020) has second and third surfaces (3028, 3026), the second surface (3028) extending from the first surface (3016) at an angle. The first surface (3016) substantially complements the shape of the nozzle-bearing body's surface (3070). The device (3000) has a recess (3023) defined therein at least in part by the first and second surfaces (3016, 3028). When the device (3000) is placed into a working configuration with the nozzle-bearing body (3070), a tangent to the third surface (3026), in a region of the third surface (3026) proximate to where the second surface (3028) meets the third surface (3026), is substantially parallel to a tangent to the first surface (3016), in a region of the first surface (3016) where the first surface (3016) meets the second surface (3028), wherein, the recess (3023) forms a pocket for receiving the fluid.
