A system for assembling a plurality of components into an assembly is provided. The system includes an installation table, a first transfer robot, a second transfer robot, and an adhesive dispensing robot. The first transfer robot is configured to assemble some of the plurality of components into a first sub-assembly and transfer the first sub-assembly to the installation table. The second transfer robot is configured to assemble remaining ones of the plurality of components into a second sub-assembly, transfer the second sub-assembly to the installation table, and attach the second sub-assembly to the first sub-assembly. The adhesive dispensing robot is configured to apply an adhesive between the first sub-assembly and the second sub-assembly, after the second sub-assembly is attached to the first sub-assembly, to bond the second sub-assembly to the first sub-assembly.

A device for applying a viscous material includes an application tube which has a material inlet opening on a first end and a material outlet opening on a second end, which defines an application channel, and which is flexible at least over one portion of its length, and a housing which accommodates the application tube, and which has a material supply connection for the viscous material to the application tube, wherein the application tube is connected to the housing in an initial region coming from the material inlet opening, and is arranged at a distance to the housing in an end region extending to the material outlet opening, and wherein a bearing section of the end region is mounted near to the material outlet opening in a motor-driven eccentric that can rotate about the longitudinal central axis. An adjustment mechanism is provided for adjusting the distance of the bearing section to the longitudinal central axis.

Object: A liquid material application apparatus and a liquid material application method are provided with which a liquid material can be discharged in a predetermined discharge amount per unit time regardless of a relative moving speed in a series of application works.
Solution: The liquid material application apparatus includes a discharge head, a robot moving the discharge head relative to a workpiece, a movement control unit controlling relative movement of the discharge head and the workpiece, and a discharge control unit controlling an operation of discharging a liquid material from a discharge head, wherein the discharge control unit executes, in a switchable manner in accordance with an application program, first mode discharge control of changing a discharge amount of the liquid material, which is discharged from the discharge head per unit time, depending on a relative moving speed between the discharge head and the workpiece, and second mode discharge control of operating the discharge head to discharge the liquid material in a predetermined discharge amount per unit time regardless of the relative moving speed. The liquid material application method is implemented using the liquid material application apparatus.

Application of liquid material is carried out without causing variations in discharge amount even on a stage under heating while temperature of a liquid material is adjusted by a temperature control device. A liquid material discharge device includes a discharge port, a liquid chamber in communication with the discharge port, and a temperature control device adjusting a temperature of the liquid chamber, the liquid material discharge device discharging the liquid material from the discharge port while a workpiece and the discharge port are moved relative to each other. The liquid material discharge device also includes a coolant flow path through which a coolant for heat exchange with the temperature control device flows, and a discharge control device controlling a discharge operation. Techniques and devices are disclosed for fabrication layout device. The device includes a table with a work surface. The work surface being a continuous surface and configured to support a plurality of railing pieces for fabrication of a railing assembly. The device further includes a beam located above the work surface. The beam is operatively coupled to the table, such that the beam moves relative to the work surface in a first direction. Attached to the beam is an ink dispenser. The ink dispenser is configured to move along the beam in a second direction different from the first direction. The ink dispenser is further configured to dispense ink onto the work surface of the table in the form of a pattern of the railing assembly. Railing pieces are positioned on the pattern so that they can be assembled to one another.
