ADHESIVE DISPENSER AND DISPENSING NOZZLE
An adhesive dispenser includes a support structure, a valve body that is mounted to the support structure and is configured to receive at least first and second adhesive materials, and a nozzle assembly that is connected to the valve body. The nozzle assembly includes a rigid tube that extends from the valve body to a tube end, and a mixing insert that is received within the tube and extends to an insert end. The mixing insert is configured to receive the first and second adhesive materials from the valve body for intermixing upstream from the insert end. The dispenser further includes a nozzle that is supported relative to the support structure and arranged about the tube end and the insert end. The nozzle has an opening at a terminal end, and a shaped aperture adjoins the opening. The nozzle is configured to dispense intermixed adhesive through the opening and aperture onto a component.
SUBSTRATE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND SUBSTRATE PROCESSING METHOD
A substrate processing apparatus includes: a first module used in a substrate processing process; a second module used in a substrate processing process after the first module; a nozzle provided in the second module and configured to supply a target treatment liquid; a temperature detector that detects a temperature of a treatment liquid inside the nozzle or a temperature of the nozzle; a substrate detection sensor that detects a position of a substrate; and a controller that controls discharge of the target treatment liquid from the nozzle performed before the substrate is conveyed to the second module according to the temperature of the treatment liquid detected by the temperature detector and the position of the substrate.
Self-centering sealant applicator
A method and apparatus for applying sealant. The apparatus may comprise a shaping portion, a centering portion, and a support system. The shaping portion may have a cavity configured to receive a fastener system and receive a sealant. The centering portion may have a channel configured to position the shaping portion in a desired position around the fastener system when the fastener system is received in the cavity. The support system may be configured to maintain the desired position of the apparatus.
Mattress manufacturing process and apparatus
A process and apparatus for manufacturing a mattress generally includes an automated foam layer placement apparatus for accurately securing one or more foam layers onto an innercore unit and bucket assembly.
COATING PRODUCTION LINE SYSTEM
A coating production line system for coating work pieces comprises a coating powder, a coating apparatus, an inspection unit to measure the thickness of the applied coating, a conveyor unit to move the work pieces through the system, and a control unit to use thickness requirements and coating parameters to control the coating apparatus based on said coating parameters with a machine learning instance. A database comprises coating powder characteristics parameter as input vector for the machine learning instance for generating an output vector to control the coating apparatus being a first additional part vector. The control unit determines the coating quality based on a comparison between the thickness data acquired from the inspection unit and the retrieved thickness requirement data as second additional part vector. The first and second additional part vectors are fed back as additional parts to the next input vector for the machine learning instance.
Coating method and coating device
The present application discloses a coating method including: detecting a shape of an object over a coating zone which extends from a start point position to an end point position to generate first detection data before application of coating agent to the object; moving a bracket for holding a nozzle for discharging the coating agent with bringing the bracket into contact with the object to apply the coating agent to the object over the coating zone; detecting a shape of the object after application of the coating agent over the coating zone, to generate second detection data; extracting first extraction data and second extraction data in correspondence to detection positions intermittently set in the coating zone from the first detection data and the second detection data; and comparing the first extraction data with the second extraction data to detect a coating state of the coating agent.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATED IRON CORE
In manufacturing a laminated iron core by laminating and bonding iron core laminates blanked from a sheet steel strip into a prescribed profile, the adhesive agent can be applied to the iron core laminates in a stable manner without regard to the arrangement and the number of the application spots on each iron core laminate. The metallic die machine (1) is provided with an adhesive agent application unit (12) configured to apply an adhesive agent to a prescribed area of the sheet steel strip (W) corresponding to the iron core laminates (2), and the adhesive agent application unit is provided with a casing (44) defining a plurality of adhesive agent storage chambers (55-57) for storing the adhesive agent before the adhesive agent is applied to the prescribed area. The casing is provided with a plurality of ejection orifices (H1 to H3) each communicating with a corresponding one of the adhesive agent storage chambers and configured to eject the adhesive agent.
Robotic smart end effector tooling
A robotic end effector system and method having a plurality of end effectors which are selectively suitable for particular applications on a workpiece. The end effectors include a resident controller adapted to execute tasks specific to the end effector and are rapidly attachable and removable from the robot for easy change over to different workpieces.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING LIQUID ADHESIVE FLOW
A hot melt adhesive system includes an adhesive supply for receiving solid or semi-solid hot melt adhesive, and a heater associated with the adhesive supply for melting the solid or semi-solid hot melt adhesive into liquid hot melt adhesive. An adhesive tracking system monitors an output of the liquid hot melt adhesive, and includes a flow meter having a flow inlet and a flow outlet. The flow meter measures an amount of the adhesive flowing out of the flow outlet. A product detector may be used to sense a presence of a product to which the adhesive is applied. A controller then determines the total amount of the liquid adhesive dispensed and the average amount of liquid adhesive dispensed per product.
