Storage Container for Tube Viscous Construction Material
A storage container for a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material includes a body dimensioned to receive a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A nozzle enclosure is attached to a top end of the body and is dimensioned to receive a nozzle of a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A plug is positioned in the nozzle enclosure and dimensioned to fit into an inner diameter of the nozzle of the cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A gasket is positioned between the body and the nozzle that substantially prevents air in the body from entering into the nozzle enclosure. A base seals the cylindrical tube of viscous construction material in the body.
METERING DISPENSER FOR FLOWABLE COMPOSITIONS
Described are metering dispensers having a body configured to hold a flowable composition in a chamber, a drive screw coupled to the body, and a plunger threadingly coupled to the drive screw. The plunger includes at least two annular lips that form a fluid seal with the chamber as the plunger travels along the drive screw through the chamber. A base is rotationally coupled to the body with a cam that contacts at least one tab extending externally from the body so that the tab enters at least one low point on the cam by traveling over a trailing edge of the low point, and the trailing edge then prevents the tab from exiting the low point in the direction of the trailing edge.
Composition applicator tip and instrumentation
A composition applicator tip adapted to deliver a rippled bead of composition to a surface of a substrate, the composition applicator tip including: a hollow conduit structure defining a pair of opposed openings and adapted to deliver the composition there through, wherein a first opening of the pair of opposed openings is adapted to be coupled to a composition delivery vessel; and an end wall enclosing a second opening of the pair of opposed openings, wherein the end wall defines an elongate slot that is adapted to be disposed substantially parallel to the surface of the substrate in use and expel the composition there through, and wherein a portion of the end wall disposed beneath the elongate slot has a height such that the composition falls by gravity a predetermined distance to the surface of the substrate in use as the composition applicator tip is translated along the surface of the substrate.
Nozzle adapter
A nozzle adapter for a caulking tube nozzle. Such a nozzle adapter includes a shoulder portion which has a hole into which a tapered nozzle of the caulking tube is inserted, a header portion which is protruded on the shoulder portion and configured to engage with an external nozzle which the user may select depending on a working environment; and a clutch plate which is provided under the shoulder portion and configured to engage with the tapered nozzle and fix the hole of the shoulder portion at the tapered nozzle. The header portion, the shoulder portion and the clutch plate forms an internal passageway through which the tapered nozzle is inserted and a caulking material flow from the tapered nozzle of the caulk tube to the external nozzle. Accordingly, the nozzle adapter is attached to a tapered nozzle of caulking tube or gun, and enables the user to select various taper dimensions or angles of external nozzles by engaging the external nozzle with the nozzle adapter which is attached to the caulking tube nozzle.
Fluid cartridge system and method of using a fluid cartridge system
A fluid cartridge system and method of removing a closure assembly from a first cartridge and a second cartridge includes a first cartridge body and a second cartridge body. A neck projects from the first cartridge body with a first outlet of the first cartridge and a second outlet of the second cartridge. A first closure having a first plug is received within the first outlet and includes a first closure coupling element. In addition, a second closure having a second plug is received within the second outlet and includes a second closure coupling element. The first closure coupling element is configured to interlock with the second closure coupling element such that securing the first cartridge body against the second cartridge body also connects the first closure to the second closure. As such, the first and second closures form the closure assembly for being collectively removed by an operator.
Metering dispenser for flowable compositions
Described are metering dispensers (10) having a body (100) configured to hold a flowable composition in a chamber, a drive screw (300) coupled to the body, and a plunger (400) threadingly coupled to the drive screw. The plunger includes at least two annular lips (416) that form a fluid seal with the chamber as the plunger travels along the drive screw through the chamber. A base (200) is rotationally coupled to the body with a cam (208) that contacts at least one tab (114) extending externally from the body so that the tab enters at least one low point (222) on the cam by traveling over a trailing edge (226) of the low point, and the trailing edge then prevents the tab from exiting the low point in the direction of the trailing edge.
MULTI-COMPONENT FLEXIBLE PACK DISPENSING MANIFOLD AND SYSTEM
A dispensing system includes a support structure and a container. The support structure includes a base and an extension arm having a first end coupled to the base and a second end spaced from the first end, and a gate coupled to the second end of the extension arm. The extension arm defines a recess or pocket between the first end and the second end. The container is coupled to the support structure and has a pin extending from an outer surface. The recess or pocket receives the pin within.
Method and applicator for applying sealant to fasteners
A liquid sealant applicator system that may include a liquid sealant applicator having a coupling to reversibly connect to a source of liquid sealant, a sidewall extending from the coupling and defining a sealant flow path, a flow restrictor that restricts the sealant flow path to an annular pattern of apertures in the flow restrictor, a porous matrix that fills at least a portion of the sealant flow path downstream of the flow restrictor, a matrix retainer configured to retain the porous matrix within the sealant flow path, and a fastener socket connected to the sidewall and having a distal end configured to be placed over and at least substantially enclose the head of a preselected fastener. The applicator is configured to provide a uniform application of sealant from the source of the liquid sealant to the head of the fastener enclosed by the fastener socket.
Storage and mixing system for pasty cement components and method therefor
A storage and mixing system, for pasty two-component polymethyl methacrylate bone cements, comprises a cartridge with a cylindrical interior, a cartridge head that closes an end of said cartridge, a partition wall axially disposed in the cylindrical interior of the cartridge, wherein said partition wall is connected to the circumferential surface of the cylindrical interior of the cartridge and divides the cylindrical interior of the cartridge delimited by the cartridge head into two spatially separate cavities. The first cavity includes a first pasty cement component and the separate second cavity includes a second pasty cement component, two delivery plungers close the two cavities on the side of the cavities opposite the cartridge head. At least two cutting edges are disposed on the front side of the sleeve-shaped connecting means facing the cartridge head, such that the at least two cutting edges cut off the partition wall from the cylindrical inner wall of the cartridge as at least one cut-off strip when the delivery plungers are advanced towards the cartridge head in the cavities with the connecting means, and wherein the sleeve-shaped connecting means comprises a deflecting surface which is inclined to the axis of the connecting means which, on advancing the connecting means, presses the at least one cut-off strip of the partition wall towards the inner wall of the cartridge.
