GLUE GUN
The invention relates to a glue gun (1), comprising: a housing (2), at least one storage means (5) for storing plastic, a heating device (11, 12), an outlet nozzle (10) for discharging the heated plastic from the glue gun (1), an extrusion unit (9) for shaping the strand (36) having plastic, which strand is to be extruded, a conveying device (17) for conveying the thermoplastic plastic from the storage means (6) to the heating device (11, 12) and through the outlet nozzle (10). The problem addressed by the invention is that it should be possible to store glue in the glue gun (1) even in large amounts and to join the parts to each other with a strand of fiber-reinforced plastic by means of adhesive bonds in such a way that the adhesive bonds withstand even large forces. This problem is solved in that the glue gun (1) comprises a pultrusion unit (8) for consolidating fibers and plastic.
Automotive repair systems including three-dimensional (3D) printed attachment parts and methods of use
A method of repairing a first automotive part that includes providing a connector tab and applying a fluidic thermoplastic material to the connector tab and/or the first automotive part to attach the connector tab to the first automotive part. The connector tab comprises: a retainer portion sized to attach to the first automotive part, wherein the retainer portion has a plurality of holes formed therethrough, and wherein the plurality of holes is configured to receive the fluidic thermoplastic material to secure the retainer portion to the first automotive part; and a coupler portion defining a shape corresponding to a portion of the first automotive part, the coupler portion forming a coupler, which is configured to operably engage another coupler of a second automotive part.
Heat pump dispenser
A heat pump dispenser includes a housing having a handle portion and a barrel portion. A feeder section is coupled to the handle portion. The feeder section includes a feeder mechanism and a dispensing trigger assembly operably coupled to the feeder mechanism. The feeder mechanism includes a gear assembly having a drive gear operably engaged to a plunger housed in the barrel portion. The trigger assembly includes a trigger having a ratchet portion. The ratchet portion selectively engages and rotates the drive gear to move the plunger toward a dispensing opening provided in the barrel portion and into engagement with an adhesive/filler stick. The feeder mechanism is selectively actuated by the dispensing trigger assembly to advance the adhesive/filler stick into a heater section of the barrel portion.
Adhesive dispensing system
A system including an adhesive dispensing device and a charger base. The adhesive dispensing device includes a first light emitting device, a handle, a power source, and a power supply interface. The charger base includes a second light emitting device, an interface formed for receiving the adhesive dispensing device, an external power output interface, and a power supply circuit. The external power output interface is configured to electrically couple to the power supply interface of the adhesive dispensing device. The first light emitting device is configured to illuminate in response to power being provided to the power supply interface from the power supply circuit. The second light emitting device is configured to illuminate in response to power being provided to the power supply circuit from the external power output interface.
HAND-HELD THREE-DIMENSIONAL DRAWING DEVICE
A three-dimensional drawing device can include a housing configured for to be held in user's hand, shaped to allow manipulation of the housing like a pen, and configured to accept a strand of thermoplastic material. The drawing device has a nozzle assembly with an exit nozzle and a motor connected to a gear train that engages the strand such that rotation of the motor causes the feed stock to be extruded out of the exit nozzle to form a three-dimensional object. The motor can be controlled using a variable speed control mechanism or first and second actuators, thereby controlling movement of the strand, for example, to advance or retract the strand relative to the nozzle assembly.
DEVICE TO PROVIDE EVEN PRESSURE FOR FILTRATION OF BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE
A device for application of even pressure on a plunger head includes: a center rod with a pressure plate affixed at a first end and a back plate positioned adjacent to a second end; a positioning spring adjacent to the pressure plate at a surface distal to the center rod; a positioning plate adjacent to an end of the positioning spring distal to the pressure plate; a housing including an aperture at a position adjacent to a distal surface of the positioning plate; a main spring surrounding the center rod between the back plate and the pressure plate; and a mechanism positioned to move the center rod between the pressure plate and the back plate, the mechanism positioned to compress the main spring between the pressure plate and the back plate in response to force applied by a user.
Automotive repair systems including handheld extruder
A repair system that includes a handheld device comprising a first extruder tip having an interior passageway extending between an inlet and a tip outlet, wherein the inlet is configured to receive a solid thermoplastic material and the tip outlet is configured to dispense a fluidic thermoplastic material; a nozzle surrounding the first extruder tip to form an annulus between an interior surface of the nozzle and an exterior surface of the first extruder tip; and a heater that is configured to heat the interior passageway of the first extruder tip such that the solid thermoplastic material becomes the fluidic thermoplastic material. In some embodiments, the repair system also includes a gas source in fluid communication with the annulus such that a skirt-shaped curtain of gas extends from the annulus and in a direction towards the tip outlet of the extruder tip.
Hot Melt Gun
The present application provides a hot melt gun including a housing having a cavity, a heating assembly mounted within the cavity and a connecting rod, wherein the housing is provided with a first through port; the heating assembly extends out of the housing from the first through port; and the connecting rod is a poor conductor of heat, and both ends thereof are respectively connected to the housing and the heating assembly, and the heating assembly is spaced apart from the housing. According to the hot melt gun provided by the present application, the heating assembly is spaced apart from the housing, a poor conductor of heat is selected as a connecting rod, the heating assembly is connected to the housing, the overall structure is simple and stable, the heat generated by the heating assembly during processing directly acts on the glue stick.
