Disclosed is a double chamber container. The first chamber comprises a stopper coupled to a first end and a cover coupled to a second end. The second chamber comprises a plunger coupled to one end and an open second end. The first chamber is coupled to the second chamber such that the first end of the first chamber is coupled to the second end of the second chamber.

A device for storing first and second ingredient materials, mixing the ingredient materials to form an adhesive material and dispensing the adhesive material. The device comprises: a nozzle for dispensing the third material; a first container adapted to store a first ingredient material and mix the first ingredient material with a second ingredient material; a second container disposed within the first container, and moveable between a storage position in which a second ingredient material is stored in the second container and a mixing position in which the second ingredient material is moved to the first container; a mixer that longitudinally extends into the first and second containers; a handle alternatively coupled to the mixer to mix the first and second ingredient materials or to the second container to move the second container to a dispensing position to dispense the third material. During use, the first container is rotated causing the second container to move relative to the first container and the second material to flow into the first container for mixing. After mixing, the handle is uncoupled from the mixer and coupled to the second container to dispense the third material from the nozzle. Embodiments are also described herein for a method of making the device and a method of using the device.

A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

A piston disposed in the mixing chamber defines a mixing volume. A dasher may be disposed in the mixing chamber to mix the ingredients together in the mixing volume so as to form a cosmetic. When the cosmetic product is thoroughly mixed, the piston urges the product out of the mixing chamber and through an outlet. A moveable sealing member is configured to pass through the outlet so as to seal off fluid communication between the mixing chamber and the outlet and to urge any remaining cosmetic product through the outlet.

The leaktight slide cylinder (11) contains a separator element (3a) that divides the reservoir into two compartments (Ri, Rs), namely a lower compartment (Ri) that is defined between the piston (2; 2) and the separator element (3a), and an upper compartment (Rs) that is defined between the separator element (3a) and the dispenser member (D). The separator element (3a) includes at least one through hole (33) that puts the two compartments (Ri, Rs) into communication with each other, the separator element moving in the leaktight slide cylinder in response to the dispenser member being actuated by pressing on the pusher.

A hermetically sealed enclosure for use in fabricating a polymeric dental article. Monomers are mixed within the enclosure by squeezing a first burst pouch to break a first burst seal between it and a second burst pouch and manipulating the enclosure by hand to initiate a polymerization reaction while the enclosure remains hermetically sealed. A second burst seal between the second burst pouch and a dispensing funnel chamber is broken by further squeezing which forces the mixture into the dispensing funnel chamber. The mixture is dispensed from an outlet of the dispensing funnel chamber by further squeezing after a tear-off strip closing the outlet has been torn off.
