Extrusion device and composite delivery system
A new type of syringe for delivering composite material for direct application of the material in the mouth of a patient. The new type of syringe includes a threaded screw for driving a piston through the syringe in order to extrude the material from the end of the syringe. The extrusion force is thus generated in the syringe, thereby allowing for a simpler, less costly motorised driving system using a torque driving movement. The syringe also includes a localised heating arrangement at the extrusion end.
Fluid dispenser
Described herein is a dispenser for dispensing fluid that, integrated into one hand piece, comprises a variable volume chamber with a plunger disposed within the chamber and a chamber inlet and outlet. The inlet and outlet communicate directly with a common chamber volume and the plunger translates in a linear direction relative to the chamber along a common longitudinal axis to expel fluid from the chamber (expel stroke) and/or draw fluid into the chamber (drawing stroke). The plunger is linked to a controller, a power source and a motor that drives translation movement of the plunger. The dispenser described herein offers a variety of advantages over the art including accurate dosing without the user having the manually regulate the dose amountthe amount to be dosed is related to the volume of fluid in the chamber which can be pre-set or varied automatically using sensors and controllers.
Pencil gun
Embodiments included herein are directed towards an apparatus that may be used to dispense a fluid. The apparatus may include a housing, wherein the housing includes a first end and a motor, wherein the first end is configured to be coupled to a syringe. The motor may be configured to be operatively connected to a drive tube, wherein at least a portion of the drive tube is configured to extend from and retract into an opening in the first end of the housing in response to the motor. One or more of the motor and the drive tube may be rotationally fixed to the housing. A first end of the drive tube may be configured to be coupled to a piston of the syringe.
METERING DISPENSER FOR FLOWABLE COMPOSITIONS
Described are metering dispensers having a body configured to hold a flowable composition in a chamber, a drive screw coupled to the body, and a plunger threadingly coupled to the drive screw. The plunger includes at least two annular lips that form a fluid seal with the chamber as the plunger travels along the drive screw through the chamber. A base is rotationally coupled to the body with a cam that contacts at least one tab extending externally from the body so that the tab enters at least one low point on the cam by traveling over a trailing edge of the low point, and the trailing edge then prevents the tab from exiting the low point in the direction of the trailing edge.
MIXING AND DISPENSING CURABLE MULTI-COMPONENT MATERIALS
Methods, apparatus, devices and systems for mixing and dispensing multi-component materials. The mixing and dispensing may be performed using a mobile, enclosed dispenser that can be used to supply a mixed multi-component material at the point of use. In some embodiments, the components to be mixed into the multi-component material may be supplied in cartridges.
Dispenser for Storing and Advancing a Liquid
A dispenser with a transfer assembly is arranged to efficiently transfer a stored liquid from a reservoir in a body of the dispenser to an applicator. The transfer assembly includes an adapter, applicator base, piston and a bias member. The adapter is in contact with the body and has a central member with orifices to fluidly couple the applicator base to the reservoir. The applicator base is supported by and extends beyond the adapter. The applicator base forms a cavity for housing the piston and the bias member. A tubular member of the applicator base supports an applicator. The piston includes a passage that conveys the stored liquid from the cavity to the applicator. The bias member keeps the head of the piston against a surface of the central member. When stored liquid is under a pressure that exceeds a bias force, displacement of the piston, opens a seal.
Flowable material dispenser
A flowable material dispenser including a barrel defining a cylindrical interior volume for holding a flexible material bag containing a flowable material. A nozzle is attached to the first end of the barrel for discharging the flowable material through a nozzle hole; and a closure is disposed on the second end. A center nut disposed on the closure holds a threaded drive rod threadably and rotatably inserted in the center nut. The drive rod includes an inner end and an outer end. Drive structure for imparting rotational forces to the drive rod moves the drive rod reciprocally and axially within the cylindrical interior volume of the barrel to twist and wring out flowable material contained within the flexible material bag.
DISPENSER FOR VISCOUS CANNABIS FLUIDS AND MEANS THEREOF
The present invention is directed to a dispensing device for the dispensation of a fluid substance. Aspects of the present invention include dispensing a viscous fluid in a measurable and repeatable manner with a single hand. The dispenser of the present invention can be used for a number of intended purposes including use with viscous fluids such as those associated with cannabis or tobacco consumption.
