The present application can provide a method for preparing a barrier film having excellent barrier characteristics and optical performances. The barrier film produced by the method of the present application can be effectively used not only for packaging material for food or medicine, and the like, but also for various applications, such as LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays) or a solar cells, substrates for electronic papers or OLEDs (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) or sealing films.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DEW FORMATION PREVENTING MEMBER AND REFRIGERATOR AND EVAPORATOR HAVING DEW FORMATION PREVENTING MEMBER
A method of manufacturing a dew formation preventing member having a super water repellent surface of the present invention comprises the steps of: mixing a particular paint and polytetrafluorethylene at a predetermined ratio; particulate painting the mixed paint on a substrate surface; and heat treating the particulate painted substrate. A method of manufacturing a dew formation preventing member having a super water repellent surface according to another aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: immersing a substrate in an electro deposition paint, and applying a direct current to conduct electro deposition painting; heat treating the substrate that has undergone the electro deposition painting; and plasma treating the surface of the substrate that has undergone the electro deposition painting.
Chrome-Look PVD Layer With Improved Adhesion
A novel physical vapor deposition (PVD) layer structure for chrome-look coatings on plastic substrates shows very good adhesion. The PVD coating is embedded in an organic UV cured base coat applied to the substrate prior to PVD coating and a similar organic UV cured top coat to protect the PVD coating and to adjust the gloss level. The novel PVD coating structure consists of different metallic layers such as i.e. chromium, zirconium and aluminum and a new adhesion layer consisting of silicon monoxide (SiO) and silicon.
Coating method and workpiece
A coating method is provided, in which at least one emulsion and/or one solution is applied at least to a first partial area of a surface of a component, said emulsion and/or solution containing at least one layer-forming substance, and then the component is heat-treated, wherein at least one second partial area of the first partial area is subsequently exposed to a plasma, wherein the carbon content of the coating decreases to less than about 80% or less than about 75% or less than about 70% or less than about 60% of the initial value prior to the plasma treatment. A workpiece and a method for the production thereof is provided.
METHOD FOR QUENCH SEASONING OF IRON/STEEL COOKWARE
The method for quench seasoning multiple units of iron/steel cookware includes the steps of: preheating each cookware unit to a temperature above the smoke point of oil in an oil bath; rapidly plunging the preheated cookware units into the oil bath to completely submerge the cookware units and quickly enough to ensure the temperature of the cookware units remain above oil smoke point; controlling the temperature of the oil bath to a ensure that the temperature of the oil bath does not reach a temperature close to oil smoke point, for example, a temperature within 20 degrees below smoke point, and retrieving the cookware units from the oil bath.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A drug delivery device and a method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically, a drug delivery device that can deliver a drug to a biological tissue while minimizing damage thereto and can come into close contact with the biological tissue to be able to measure an electrical signal of or apply electrical stimulation to the biological tissue and a method for manufacturing the drug delivery device are proposed. The drug delivery device includes a substrate unit that is inserted into a human body and has a porous insertion portion having one or more discharge voids. The insertion portion is provided to be deformable to match a shape of a biological tissue while expanding and contracting as a drug is injected into and discharged from an inside of the injection portion.
METAL SURFACE PROTECTIVE LAYER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The disclosure provides a metal surface protective layer and a preparation method thereof. The metal surface protective layer comprises an organic medium layer, a metal coating layer and a transparent powder layer from inside to outside, wherein the organic medium layer is formed by spraying organic medium powder onto the surface of metal to be treated, the metal coating layer is formed by performing magnetron sputtering PVD plating on the organic medium layer, the organic medium layer is subjected to surface activation and cleaning treatment before the magnetron sputtering PVD plating, and the transparent powder layer is formed by spraying transparent powder onto the metal coating layer.
Method for improving the water tolerance of bio-based CNF-films
The present invention relates to a continuous roll-to-roll process for improving the water tolerance of bio-based polymers, in particular cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) films. Furthermore, the invention provides a method, which combines surface modification/functionalization for improving water stability and wet strength, UV/Ozone treatment, corona treatment or plasma activation for purifying and activating the surface and thus increasing the reaction efficiency, and further hydrophobization of the surface of CNF film.
Superhydrophobic and dust mitigating coatings
A system, apparatus, composition and method employing a dust mitigation coating that also mitigates or repels water, ice, and other liquids. Techniques to coat the surfaces of equipment and items with these dust, liquid, and ice mitigation coatings, minimizing or eliminating mission problems caused by dust, liquid, or ice accumulation, particularly in outer space or on another planetary body or moon. Further, the dust mitigation coatings should exhibit a Lotus-like effect, making the coated surfaces ultra-hydrophobic. The present invention is also directed to techniques for improving the functioning of terrestrial-based equipment and systems where dust, liquid, or ice accumulation is a problem, such as in hospitals and other health contexts to prevent contamination.
