Transfer device for transferring articles

A transfer device for introducing and/or removing articles to a process device includes a basic frame and a conveying unit, which is supported by the basic frame and transfers or receives articles to or from the process device. The conveying unit is designed to be movably positionable in order for the transfer device to be reversibly advanced up to the process device. The conveying unit includes an output element of a magnetic coupling and is designed for reversibly coupling the transfer device to a corresponding drive element of the magnetic coupling, the drive element being provided on the process device. When the drive element and the output element are coupled to one another, the magnetic coupling effectuates a force transmission from a drive unit of the process device to the conveying unit.

Method of Manufacturing Coat Body and Apparatus of Manufacturing Coat Body

A coat body with satisfactory properties is manufactured. A coat body 5 is manufactured by a step (a) of forming a first coat liquid layer 3a by applying a first coat liquid onto a first surface of a base member 1 loaded out from a carry-out unit, a step (b) after the step (a), of forming a second coat liquid layer 4a by applying a second coat liquid onto the first coat liquid layer, a step (c) after the step (b), of forming a coat layer 3a and a coat layer 4b by drying the first coat liquid layer and the second coat liquid layer, and a step (d) of loading in the base member including the coat layer 3b and the coat layer 4b formed thereon by a carry-in unit. And, in the step (a), the first coat liquid is applied onto the first surface of the base member. In the step (b), the second coat liquid is atomized onto the first surface of the base member.

A method of manufacturing a floor board comprises the steps of supplying a panel, printing a curable substance or surface removing substance onto the panel in a predefined pattern for creating an elevation on the panel at the pattern or removing a portion of the surface of the panel at the pattern, respectively, and curing the curable substance or removing any reaction products of the surface removing substance and the panel.

Two-coat single cure powder coating

Methods and systems for coating metal substrates are provided. The methods and systems include sequential application of low flow and high flow powder coatings followed by a single heating step to provide a cured coating. The methods and systems include a marker that allows coating uniformity to be monitored and assessed during application. The described methods provide coatings with optimal surface smoothness and edge coverage.

SOLVENT-BORNE COATING COMPOSITIONS, COATINGS FORMED THEREFROM, AND METHODS OF FORMING SUCH COATINGS

A coating composition includes: (a) a carboxylic acid functional polyol polymer; (b) a melamine-formaldehyde crosslinker reactive with the carboxylic acid functional polyol polymer; (c) an acid catalyst; and (d) a non-aqueous liquid medium. The carboxylic acid functional polyol polymer has an acid value within a range of from 30 to 120 mg KOH/g and a hydroxyl value within a range of from 60 to 150 mg KOH/g. The melamine-formaldehyde crosslinker includes imino and methylol groups that together make up 35 mole % or less of the total functionality of the melamine-formaldehyde crosslinker, and butyl groups and isobutyl groups that together make up 5 mole % or greater of the total functionality of the melamine-formaldehyde crosslinker. The coating composition cures at a temperature of 90 C. or less.
