BOTTLE CLEANER

A bottle cleaner includes a housing defining a chamber therein. A support frame is disposed within the housing to support one or more bottles. A base is disposed below the housing. A bottom liner is at least partially received within the housing. The bottom liner defines a plurality of openings and a fluid reservoir. At least one pump is disposed within the base to pump liquid from within the fluid reservoir to one or more spray jets for cleaning the bottles. Further, a blower and heater are disposed within the base. The blower discharges air into the chamber through the plurality of openings to dry the bottles. A heater element produces steam which aids in steam sterilization functionality.

The disclosure herein relates to cleaning arms for cleaning containers that can be used for transportation of food, medical, and/or pharmaceutical products. In some embodiments, a container cleaning arm comprises a main body and rotatable head for cleaning a container interior surface, wherein the main body comprises a proximate end configured for engaging with a motorized drive and a distal end rotatably coupled to the rotatable head, and wherein the rotatable head comprises a first washing nozzle or group of washing nozzles and a first air knife dryer positioned adjacent to the first group of washing nozzles.

PLANT AND METHOD TO CONTINUOUSLY DECONTAMINATE RIGID CONTAINERS

A plant to continuously decontaminate containers, comprising: a decontamination chamber having a tray having through openings and a feeding grid to feed at least one row of containers, which are aligned according to a first direction, along the tray, in a second direction, which is transverse to the first direction; a vaporized hydrogen peroxide generator to generate a gaseous mixture comprising air and vaporized hydrogen peroxide; a forced ventilation system to generate, in the chamber, a first flow of gaseous mixture that hits the row of containers from above; and a dispenser system arranged under the tray to generate a second flow of gaseous mixture, which hits the row of containers from below, through the through openings. The feeding grid comprises pushing members uniformly equidistant to each other along the second direction so that any pair of pushing members adjacent to each other can accommodate a row of containers.

APPARATUS, PROBE ASSEMBLY AND METHODS FOR TREATING CONTAINERS

The invention provides an apparatus for treating surfaces of a container. The apparatus comprises an openable reaction chamber housing, an exhaust escapement and an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly comprises a probe assembly coupled with a power source, the probe assembly comprising an elongate wand body, and a helically configured primary electrode and a helically configured counter electrode disposed about an outer circumferential surface of the wand body in an alternating helical configuration. The elongate wand body has a fluid passageway defined therewithin, and one or more outlet openings that are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the wand body and that extend inward through said outer circumferential surface and upto the fluid passageway. One or both of the primary electrode and the counter electrode may be energizable by the power source.

Carbonated drink filling method and carbonated drink filling system

In a carbonated drink filling method, a preform is continuously transferred and introduced into a heating furnace, heated to a temperature for molding the preform into a container, molded into the container in a molding die after the preform exits the heating furnace, conveyed in an upright position during which a coolant (F) is injected to a bottom of the container to cool the bottom. The container is filled with a carbonated drink (a) through a mouth portion of the container, and the mouth portion is then sealed. The coolant is injected in the cooling to the bottom of the container from a nozzle opening on either or both sides of a conveyance line of the container, and the nozzle opening is directed diagonally upward to the bottom of the container in such a manner that an extension of the nozzle opening intersects with the conveyance line of the container.

Removal of coffee grounds from a portafilter

An apparatus for use in cleaning a portafilter includes a portafilter receiver with a central opening. A landing area extends over at least a portion of the central opening. Spent grounds fall through a hole in the landing area when an inverted portafilter is positioned over the landing area during the cleaning process. Left and right retention members are spaced vertically above the landing area and portafilter receiving slots are defined between the retention members and the landing area. The receiving slots securely hold the portafilter above the landing area and center the cup portion of the portafilter over the hole. A receiving box is mounted below the portafilter receiver and receives the spent coffee grounds. A steam tube mounted to the receiving box connects to a pressurized steam supply and, when activated, directs pressurized steam through the hole of the landing area and into the cup portion of the inverted portafilter.
