CONTAINER MEMBER SUPPLY DEVICE
The present invention has an object of providing a container member supply device that has favorable workability at a time of disassembly and washing and suppresses the occurrence of abrasion powder in a container member. Provided is a container member supply device including: a container member separation unit that supplies a container member having a flange at a peripheral edge thereof to a pocket of a container member conveyance turret, one by one, wherein the container member separation unit has a plurality of cutout parts, and one of the plurality of cutout parts is constituted by a cutout groove that is integrally provided on an upper outer periphery of the container member conveyance turret and engages with a flange of a container member.

Double seam modification tooling apparatus and double seam modification process
The present application is directed to a double seam modification tooling apparatus for double seam modification and the double seam modification process. More particularly, a tooling apparatus for double seam modification is provided which adds a third modification operation to the first and second double seam operations which form the finished double seam, as well as a process for modifying double seams to include patterns of integral slots, notches or threads, or the like, after the double seams have been previously completely formed by the double seam modification tooling apparatus. Child resistant lids can then be configured with mating tab notches or tab threads to allow for opening or closing the lid when the tabs are properly aligned with the notches and threads on the can rim modified double seams.

Laminated Can Sealant
A metal can with a monolithic laminated hermetic seal is provided. The lid and sidewall of a can each include a laminated layer bonded to an interior surface. The lid and sidewall of the can are rolled to form a double seam and mechanically seal the can. When the double seal is formed through the mechanical rolling process and before heating, a bi-laminate layer forms between the adjacent laminated interior surfaces. The bi-laminate layer is then heated, causing each laminate layer to melt and fuse with the adjacent laminate layer. This creates a monolithic laminate layer that fills gaps within the double seam to form a hermetic seal that is impervious to air, water, gas, liquids, and other fluids.

CAN SEAMING APPARATUS
A can seaming apparatus including a frame, a can handling assembly, a can driving assembly and a seaming assembly. The can seaming apparatus is configured to seal a lid to a can through a double seam can seal. The can is positioned and clamped between an upper and a lower chuck. The can driving assembly spins the can and the upper and lower chucks about an axis. The seaming assembly includes two rollers mounted to a roller frame which pivots about an axis relative to the frame. The roller frame can be pivoted so as to selectively have the two rollers sequentially engage the can to form the necessary crimping operations.
