Handheld Handle-Powered Pull Riveter
A blind riveting device is provided, which is adapted for engagement to a handle having a powered translating member projecting therefrom. Force from the translating member imparted to a drive piston moves a second piston to pull a blind rivet connected to a jaw engaged with the second piston, thereby mounting the blind rivet.
Tool and method for processing a workpiece with a tool element of a tool
A tool for processing a workpiece has a tool element for processing the workpiece and a control device. The control device is configured to evaluate a rotation angle, which is detected by a detection device, and with which the tool is arranged in space, after a processing operation of the workpiece has been carried out with the tool element. The control device is also configured to release the control of the tool in a manner dependent on whether the tool has been arranged in space with a predetermined rotation angle after the workpiece has been processed.
ATTACHMENT FOR A RIVET SETTING TOOL
An attachment for a rivet setting tool with a first plurality of jaws configured to clamp and pull a mandrel of a rivet comprises a flexible sheath and a flexible cable arranged within the flexible sheath. The flexible cable includes a first end configured to be clamped and pulled by the first plurality of jaws and a second end opposite the first end. A second plurality of jaws between which the mandrel is receivable is coupled to the second end of the flexible cable. The second plurality of jaws is configured to clamp and pull the mandrel in response to the first end of the flexible cable being clamped and pulled by the first plurality of jaws.

Electric blind rivet setting device
The present invention provides a small electric blind rivet setting device that is capable of being driven by a battery and that does not require a pathway for recovering the broken mandrels to be provided in the motor shaft. A recovery container 10 is provided in a tool housing 27 forward of an electric motor 13 in the axial direction, and a spindle 14, which rotates because of the rotation of a drive shaft 18 connected to the electric motor circumventing the recovery container, is connected so as to move a pulling head (30) in the axial direction. The positive rotation, stopping of rotation and reverse rotation of the electric motor are controlled by a pulling operation on a trigger and detecting the position of the pulling head in the axial direction.
Blind rivet fastening device
A blind rivet fastening device in which a passage for collecting broken mandrels is provided other than on the axis of the motor. A large collection chamber is provided for broken mandrels. A collection chamber for broken mandrels is provided in front of a brushless electric motor in the axial direction. When the electric motor rotates, power from the electric motor is transmitted to a spindle positioned to the rear of the collection chamber via a second shaft positioned below the collection chamber. When the spindle rotates, a pulling head moves in the axial direction. The axial position of the pulling head is determined by detecting the rotation count of the electric motor. Forward rotation, reverse rotation, and stopping of the electric motor are controlled based on the operation of a trigger and the axial position of the pulling head. Excessive torque is avoided by clutches.
BLIND RIVET FASTENING APPARATUS
A blind rivet fastening device including a dual function crutch device. The crutch releases at the rear end position RP of the pulling head and the crutch slips at the home position HP. The device includes a spindle crutch axially movable with respect to the spindle and integrally rotated, and a nut crutch integrally formed with the ball screw nut. The spindle crutch can move in the axial direction and can release from the nut crutch. The spindle crutch also has a first segment portion; one end of the first segment portion is a vertical plane and the other end is a slanted plane. The nut crutch has second segment portions of complementary shape. When the pulling head reaches the rear end position RP, the crutch is disengaged. When the pulling head returns to the home position HP, the inclined faces of the crutch slip with each other.
Collar delivery systems for swage guns
Systems and methods are provided for delivering collars to swage guns for swaging. One embodiment is an apparatus that includes a frame, arms movably attached to the frame, a tensioner mechanism that applies force to drive the arms towards each other, and fingers that each extend from an arm. The fingers each include a lengthwise structure. The lengthwise structure includes an arcuate portion dimensioned to mate with an arcuate portion of another finger to form a hollow cylindrical receptacle. The lengthwise structure also includes a channel extending to the arcuate portion, dimensioned to mate with a channel of another finger to form a hollow tunnel for delivering a collar to the receptacle when the fingers are partially apart from each other. The arms of the apparatus each include a contact area.
APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING BLIND RIVET
An apparatus for mounting a blind rivet, configured to mount the blind rivet having a rivet body and a mandrel on a board, may include a rivet holder accommodating a mandrel therein and pressing a rivet head towards the board, a mandrel holder positioned inside the rivet holder and moving separately from the rivet holder to hold and pull the accommodated mandrel, and an impactor positioned inside the rivet holder to accommodate the mandrel holder therein and applying pressure to the mandrel holder holding the mandrel, thus lifting the mandrel holder together with the mandrel.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRICALLY OPERATED PORTABLE RIVETING MACHINE, AND ELECTRICALLY OPERATED PORTABLE RIVETING MACHINE
A method for operating an electrically-operated portable riveting machine includes providing an electrically-operated portable riveting machine and informing the user when it is necessary to empty the collecting vessel. The electrically-operated portable riveting machine includes a housing, a rivet setting mechanism arranged in the housing which sets rivet elements into workpieces to be connected, a collecting vessel, a delivery duct that delivers spent rivet mandrels created during a setting of the rivet elements into the collecting vessel, a spent rivet mandrel determination device which determines a number of the spent rivet mandrels in the collecting vessel, and a user information device which informs a user when it is necessary to empty the collecting vessel.
