Diecasting Die System
The invention relates to a diecasting method and a diecasting nozzle system (10) for use in a hot-chamber system (1) for the diecasting of metal melt (4), comprising a hot-chamber diecasting machine (2) with a casting vessel (3) and a melt distributor (20), which distributes the melt (4) from a machine nozzle (7) among uniformly heated diecasting nozzles (40). Arranged between a sprue region (42) of the diecasting nozzles (40) and the casting vessel (3) is at least one nonreturn valve (48), which prevents the melt (4) from flowing back from the sprue region (42) in the direction of the casting vessel (3). According to the invention, the nonreturn valve (48) is respectively arranged between the sprue region (42) of at least the upper diecasting nozzles (40) and a final branch of melt runners (22) in the melt distributor (20) to each of the diecasting nozzles (40).
Stopper for a Sprue of a Casting Mould
The invention relates to a stopper for a sprue of a casting mould, said stopper having a through-passage for introducing casting material into the sprue of the casting mould and being designed such that it automatically closes the through-passage to prevent casting material from flowing out of the casting mould, and also to a method for filling a casting mould with casting material, having the steps of: inserting such a stopper into a sprue of a casting mould and introducing casting material into the through-passage.
Device for die casting a metal component
A device for die casting a metal component included a die casting mold which has a cavity that forms the component. The cavity is connected to a source for a metal melt by at least one temperature controlled supply channel. The metal melt is introduced into the cavity via at least one casting valve. The supply channel forms an annular channel, in which metal melt can be circulated via a conveying apparatus.
Contaminant-purging cold chamber die casting apparatus and method
A die casting insert for producing die casted metal parts from liquid metal. The die casting insert has an outer casing shaped to be fixed in the die block of the die casting apparatus. The die casting insert also has a stopper with a purge opening that is adapted to evacuate contaminants topping the liquid metal as pressure is applied to the liquid metal. The stopper, fitted to mate with the hollow inner cavity of the injection sleeve, is constructed to seal the hollow inner cavity of the injection sleeve except at the purge opening when in a first position; and to permit the flow of the liquid metal into at least one molding cavity when the stopper is in a second position. The die casting insert also has an activation mechanism configured to shift the stopper between the first position and the second position.

Sprue System for a Diecasting Die
A sprue system for a diecasting die includes at least one runner channel, which extends from an entry-side sprue mouth opening to an exit-side sprue opening, which opens into a die cavity of the diecasting die that is formed between a fixed die half and a movable die half or into a gate region arranged upstream thereof. The runner channel has a geometrically and/or thermally defined parting region upstream of the sprue opening and downstream of the sprue mouth opening. The runner channel has a bend or kink in the parting region and/or a heating device is assigned to a runner channel portion between the parting region and the exit-side sprue opening and/or a heating device is assigned to a runner channel portion adjoining the parting region upstream and narrowing conically toward the parting region and/or a region of the movable die half opposite the sprue opening has a cooling channel structure.
Die casting nozzle and method for operating a die casting nozzle
Die cast nozzle for use in a die casting hot chamber system for molten metal with at least melting channel (4) in a channel carrier (3) that can be connected to a melt distributor (21), wherein the melting channel (4) passes over into a heating zone (6) and a nozzle tip (8), to which a sprue area (10) is attached, in which a plug of solidified melting can be formed that interrupts the melting flow, wherein the heating zone (6) comprises a heating cartridge (2) and/or a heatable nozzle shaft (33) and/or the nozzle tip (8) is comprised as heatable nozzle tip (8) and comprises at least one heating cartridge (2), the heatable nozzle shaft (33), or the heatable nozzle tip (8) as heating element with electric heating, which comprises high power density in at least one section and low thermal inertia, comprised in a way that a temperature change gradient of 20 to 250 K/s, preferably 150 K/s, can be achieved on the surface of the heating element. A method for operating the die cast nozzle is also the subject matter of the invention.
