Spindle apparatus and operating method thereof
A spindle apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a housing, a spindle rotatably installed in the housing, a tool releasably engaged with one end of the spindle and having an insert tip movable in a radial direction of the tool, a first draw-bar movably mounted in the spindle, and a second draw-bar movably mounted in the first draw-bar. The tool and one end of the first draw-bar are releasably engaged with the one end of the spindle by a movement of the first draw-bar, and the insert tip is configured to move in the radial direction by a movement of the second draw-bar.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CUTTING INNER SURFACE OF HOLE
A hole inner-surface cutting apparatus includes a working head composed of a rotatable body having a cutting tool and a main body, a rotation rod for rotating the rotatable body, and a stroke rod for stroking the working head. At least three positioning mechanisms for positioning the working head along a radial direction in the penetrating hole is provided on the main body. Each of the positioning mechanisms has three sliders arranged radially, guide rollers respectively disposed on distal ends of the sliders, a piston for pressing the sliders radially outward, and a fluid pressure chamber for actuating the piston. Further provided is a controller for controlling fluid pressures in the fluid pressure chambers of the positioning mechanisms independently from each other.
DEVICE FOR REMOVING TOOL JOINT EDGE BURRS FROM CAP OPENING OF WHEEL
Disclosed is a device for removing tool joint edge burrs from a cap opening of a wheel. Four positioning rods circumferentially form a cone, and angle adjusting cylinders drive sliding blocks to move up and down. An electric cylinder drives an adjusting cone to move up and down to adjust the distance between a left cutting edge and a right cutting edge, and by adjusting the distance between the cutting edges, a cutter system is prevented from interfering with a narrow cap opening during descending, and an L-shaped revere chamfer cutter can be formed. According to the invention, not only is the space saved, but also the working efficiency is improved. The device can automatically remove burrs from a first and second tool joint inside a cap opening, can be used for automatic continuous production, and is advanced, stable, efficient and high in accuracy.
INTEGRATED BORE PROFILING TOOL AND METHOD
An apparatus that includes a tool head; an insert that is coupled to the head and configured to engage an inner diameter of a workpiece, so as to machine the workpiece; a boring bar or drill tube coupled to the head, the boring bar or drill tube configured to extend through a guide bore in the workpiece; and a measuring device that is positioned proximate to the head and configured to measure a radial dimension, an axial dimension, or both of the inner diameter. The head may include a plurality of inserts, wherein the plurality of inserts are selectable such that the inserts are engageable with the inner diameter of the workpiece. The measuring device may include a contact-based measuring device.
BORING BAR ACTUATABLE BY A CENTRIFUGAL FORCE
An actuatable boring bar is configured to place a cutting insert cartridge received onto the boring bar in a cutting position when the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the boring bar about the rotation axis reaches a centrifugal force threshold and in a non-cutting position when the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the boring bar about the rotation axis is below the centrifugal force threshold. The boring bar is further configured so that the cutting insert cartridge can be set-up onto the boring bar in the cutting position.
Drill head and method for chambering blind drill-holes
The invention relates to a drill head for chambering a blind hole with a flat base, and a method directed thereto.
