CONNECTOR
A connector with a first substantially cylindrical section having a cavity with a spring-loaded ball-snap element comprising a ball and a spring. An at least partially conically shaped section connecting the first substantially cylindrical section and a second substantially cylindrical section. The first and the second substantially cylindrical sections and the at least partially conically section define a longitudinal length extension. The first substantially cylindrical section and the second substantially cylindrical section are off-center with respect to the longitudinal length extension. A head having a hollow portion is dimensioned to receive the second substantially cylindrical section, the at least partially conically shaped section and a part of the first substantially cylindrical section. The hollow portion has an inner wall with a circular recess dimensioned to receive the ball, removably attaching the head to the second substantially cylindrical section.
TOOL-HOLDING APPARATUS, IMPACT DRIVER, AND ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE
A tool-holding apparatus (70) includes an engaging member (71) for engaging a tool accessory (B) and being movably supported in axial and radial directions in a rotational-output shaft (26) having an insertion hole (81) for holding the tool accessory (B). A first biasing member (72) biases the engaging member towards engagement with the engaging member. A bit sleeve (73) is movable in the axial direction along an outer-circumferential surface of the rotational-output shaft between a blocking position at which radial outward movement of the engaging member is blocked and a permitting position at which radial outward movement of the engaging member is permitted. A second biasing member (74) biases the bit sleeve toward the blocking position. A positioning part (75) is fixed on the outer-circumferential surface of the rotational-output shaft and stops the bit sleeve at the blocking position. The bit sleeve has a projection (88), which is disposed on the forward side of the first biasing member, extends inward in the radial direction, and slidably contacts the rotational-output shaft.
Hand-Held Power Tool Having a Locking Device
A hand-held power tool includes a tool receptacle with which a tubular tool holder configured to receive an application tool is associated, and a locking device configured to lock the application tool in the tubular tool holder. The locking device locks the application tool in a locking position via at least one locking element in the tubular tool holder. The locking device has a locking sleeve and a pressure ring spring loaded via an associated spring element. The spring-loaded pressure ring is configured to force the locking sleeve into the locking position and, in the locking position, forces the at least one locking element against the tool holder.
Multiple Connection Drive Shaft
Disclosed is a system to engage a plurality of tools. In the system a drive shaft and collet may be assembled to engage and disengage, selectively, a plurality of tools. User selection may allow use of a plurality of tools during a procedure or during a plurality of procedures.
Sheet Metal Tooling Assembly
A sheet metal tooling assembly for drilling, snipping, notching, and crimping sheet metal includes a housing, which defines an interior space. A motor and a drive linkage are engaged to the housing and are positioned in the interior space. The drive linkage is operationally engaged to the motor. A battery is selectively engageable to the first section so that the battery is operationally engaged to the motor. A fixed chuck is engaged to the housing and is operationally engaged to the drive linkage. A tool for tooling sheet metal is selectively engageable to the fixed chuck. The motor is positioned to actuate the tool via the drive linkage and the shaft so that the tool can effect tooling of the sheet metal.
REPLACEABLE TOOL HEAD HAVING SERRATED COUPLING PORTIONS AND A TOOL HOLDER THEREFOR
A tool head has a longitudinal axis, forward and rearward ends, and top, bottom and peripheral surfaces. The peripheral surface has first and second side walls provided with respective first and second serrated portions, each of the first and second side walls being divided into spaced apart top and bottom side wall portions. The peripheral surface also has a stopper wall which faces in the rearward direction, extends transversely to the second side wall and is provided with a stopper serrated portion. A rear wall formed at the rearward end and connects the first and second side walls. The tool head also includes an insert retaining portion proximate the forward end, and a coupling portion which extends in the direction of the rearward end and includes vertically spaced apart top and bottom coupling arms separated by a coupling recess opening out to the rear wall.
Power tool to tool bit extension adapter
An extension adapter includes a body having a bore. The bore is configured to receive a tool bit. The extension adapter includes a retaining member received within an aperture of the body and a biasing member coupled to the body. The biasing member includes a protrusion received within the aperture to bias the retaining member into a first position in which a portion of the retaining member extends into the bore. The extension adapter includes a collar moveable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The unlocked position is configured to allow the tool bit to be removed from the bore. While the collar is maintained in the locked position, the body is configured to slidably receive the tool bit such that the portion of the retaining member is received in a groove of the tool bit to secure the tool bit to the body.
TOOL BIT HOLDER
A tool bit holder includes an inner sleeve in which a longitudinal bore is defined in which a tool bit is receivable and a detent is engageable with the tool bit for locking the tool bit within the longitudinal bore. An outer sleeve surrounds the inner sleeve and is movable relative to the inner sleeve between a locking position, in which the detent is engaged with the tool bit for locking the tool bit within the longitudinal bore, and a release position, in which the detent may be disengaged from the tool bit to permit removal of the tool bit from the longitudinal bore. A spring is positioned between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. The spring biases the outer sleeve toward the locking position
Surgical grip with an internal and spring-biased rotation securing unit
A surgical grip for receiving a handpiece shaft for conjoint rotation therewith and/or for receiving a medical tool in such a way as to transmit torque, includes a carrier sleeve on which at least one coupling component provided for coupling the handpiece shaft is attached such that the at least one coupling component can be brought to a coupled position and to an uncoupled position in the operating state, wherein the at least one coupling component can be brought into contact with an activation unit which is arranged between the carrier sleeve and to an outer actuation sleeve, wherein a rotation securing unit present inside the actuation sleeve acts on the activation unit in a spring-biased manner in the operating state such that the activation unit is held secure against rotation relative to the carrier sleeve.
