INTRAOSSEOUS DEVICE COUPLERS, DRIVERS, KITS, AND METHODS
This disclosure includes various embodiments of couplers for coupling intraosseous (IO) devices and drivers, and various embodiments of drivers and kits.
ACCESSORY TOOL
An accessory tool includes an adapter end, and a shank coupled to the adapter end and including a first length. The shank includes a tool engagement portion, and a first reduced portion disposed between the tool engagement portion and the adapter end. The first reduced portion has a second length. The shank additionally includes a second reduced portion formed in the tool engagement portion between the first reduced portion and an end of the shank. The second length is 2.5% to 15% of a total length of the accessory tool.
Core chuck system
A core chuck system (10) comprising a core chuck (11) and a spindle (12) onto which the core chuck (11) is lockable, which core chuck system (10) comprises a ball locking mechanism, a locking button (15) and a cone connection (C).
Workpiece clamping device, and processing system having workpiece clamping device
A workpiece clamping device able to perform a set-up changing operation for clamping members depending on the kind of a workpiece to be processed, at a low cost, by a simple method. The workpiece clamping device includes a bracket, a movable part which is movable with respect to the bracket, a clamping member to be attached to and detached from the bracket or the movable part, to clamp a workpiece, and a detachable device for detachably coupling the bracket or the movable part to the clamping member.
Multi-use tool
Apparatuses and systems including an instrument for manipulating components within a knee joint of a patient are disclosed. Such manipulation can include inserting and/or removing such components to or from a bone of the knee joint. The instrument can include a handle, a body, a plunger, a detent and a collar. The handle can have a proximal end and a distal end and a longitudinal extent between the proximal end and the distal end. The body can be coupled to the handle and can extend distal of the distal end. The body can define a receptacle therein having an opening at a distal end portion of the instrument. The plunger can be moveably disposed within the body and can be moveable between a first position and a second position. The detent can be moveable by the plunger, such that with the plunger in the first position at least a portion of the detent can extend into the receptacle and with the plunger in the second position the detent can be recessed from the receptacle. The collar can be disposed about at least a portion of the body and can be moveable relative to the body to operatively actuate the plunger from the first position to the second position.
PIN DRIVE ROTARY SURGICAL CUTTING TOOLS AND POWERED HANDPIECES
A surgical cutting tool includes an elongated shaft and a cutting head. The shaft defines a coupling portion terminating at a proximal end of the shaft, a stem portion, and a distal portion. The stem portion defines a central axis. The coupling portion optionally defines a deflection surface positioned oblique with respect to the central axis and connected with a first driven surface and a second driven surface. Upon insertion into a drive chuck, the deflection surface promotes self-alignment of the cutting tool and the drive chuck.
Surgical grip with an internal and spring-biased rotation securing unit
A surgical grip for receiving a handpiece shaft for conjoint rotation therewith and/or for receiving a medical tool in such a way as to transmit torque, includes a carrier sleeve on which at least one coupling component provided for coupling the handpiece shaft is attached such that the at least one coupling component can be brought to a coupled position and to an uncoupled position in the operating state, wherein the at least one coupling component can be brought into contact with an activation unit which is arranged between the carrier sleeve and an outer actuation sleeve, wherein a rotation securing unit present inside the actuation sleeve acts on the activation unit in a spring-biased manner in the operating state such that the activation unit is held secure against rotation relative to the carrier sleeve.
DEBURRING TOOL AND DEBURRING METHOD
A deburring tool includes: a case; a hollow sleeve that reciprocates inside the cylinder in a non-rotating manner; a drive gear disposed inside the sleeve, includes a first tooth, and rotates together with the case and the sleeve; a reciprocating shaft disposed inside the sleeve, including a driven gear disposed at a basal end portion of the sleeve and a basal end side of the drive gear, the driven gear including a second tooth, a tool holder disposed at a distal end portion of the sleeve, and slides inside the sleeve in a rotational and reciprocating direction, and a stem that fixes the driven gear and the tool holder, and penetrates the drive gear, a first spring that urges the sleeve toward distal end direction; and a second spring that urges the tool holder from the drive gear toward distal end direction.
Pushing structure of clamping mechanism
A pushing structure of a clamping mechanism is disclosed which comprises a working platform and a chuck. The working platform has a clamping shaft inserted in the chuck, and the chuck has a piston seat and a movable seat at a center of the piston seat for an insertion of the clamping shaft. The chuck further comprises a base at a bottom of the piston seat corresponding to the movable seat and a projection at a bottom of the base. The projection provides an upward push force to the working platform when the piston seat is lifted to release the clamping shaft of the working platform.
POWER TOOL TO TOOL BIT EXTENSION ADAPTER
An extension adapter includes a body, a collar, and a gasket. The body includes a front portion, a rear portion, and a flange separating the front portion from the rear portion. The front portion has a larger diameter than the rear portion. The body also includes an inner surface that defines a bore configured to receive a tool bit. The collar is moveable along the rear portion of the body between an unlocked position in which the tool bit is removable from the bore and a locked position in which the tool bit is secured to the body. The gasket is coupled to the rear portion of the body and abutting the flange. The gasket is compressed between the flange and the collar when the collar is in the locked position to block dust and debris from entering the bore.
