A fixing device for securing a thin-walled component according to an embodiment includes: a support; a pressing portion provided on the support and including: a pressure generator located at a center of the support; and a plurality of pressure transmitters arranged around the pressure generator and extending in a radial direction of the thin-walled component; and a plurality of elastic members connected to the plurality of pressure transmitters, wherein the plurality of pressure transmitters are configured to move the plurality of elastic members in the radial direction.
Workpiece picking device
A workpiece picking device configured to pick up plate-like or pillar-shaped workpieces one at a time from the top of the workpieces stacked in the vertical direction, the workpiece picking device including: a chuck including a plurality of gripping claws arranged around the topmost workpiece and configured to grip a side surface of the topmost workpiece, and movable in a vertical direction, and a separator provided inside at least one of the gripping claws, and configured to separate the topmost workpiece gripped by the plurality of gripping claws from the second workpiece, the separator including a pressing part configured to be projectable downwardly from the at least one of the gripping claws toward the second workpiece, and a driving part configured to press the pressing part against the second workpiece by moving the pressing part toward the second workpiece.
Clamping device for clamping a cylindrical instrument shank
The invention relates to a clamping device for clamping a cylindrical instrument shank, in particular, a dental instrument, the clamping device including a spring-loaded element for holding the instrument shank, a hollow shaft for transmitting a rotational movement, and a plunger, with the spring-loaded element being designed as a sleeve with a cylindrical wall, a first opening and a second opening; and the wall having cut-outs. The spring-loaded element, the shaft and the plunger have axes of rotation that are arranged coaxially; the shaft protrudes at least partially into the first opening of the spring-loaded element; and the plunger protrudes at least partially into the second opening of the spring-loaded element.
Tool chuck, tool holding method and tool removing method
Provided is a tool chuck that allows precision gripping of a tool by a collet when this collet is pushed into a chuck body. The tool chuck includes a collet for gripping a tool, a chuck body having, at a leading end thereof, a receiving portion for receiving the collet inserted therein along an axis thereof, a holder containing the collet therein and configured to be movable together with the collet along an axial direction based on the axis, and a nut fitted on the chuck body (2) in a radial direction based the axis and containing the holder in the radial direction. The holder has a movement allowing mechanism for allowing the holder to move relative to the nut along the axial direction when the nut is moved relative to the chuck body along the axial direction.
Collet Comprising a Seal
A collet includes a plurality of clamping jaws movable relative to one another, at least one recess provided in one of mutually facing side faces of adjacent clamping jaws, and a spring inserted into each recess and supporting the adjacent clamping jaws resiliently relative to one another, and a seal sealing the gap between two side faces of adjacent clamping jaws, with the seal having a fastening portion engaging in the at least one recess.
Lathe Error-Correcting Collet Chuck
An adjustable collet holder for use with a lathe is provided. The adjustable collet holder may include a set of hold down screws to hold it in place once adjusted. Adjustment may be achieved by adjusting multiple set screws to change both angular and concentricity orientations of a collet receiver relative to a body of the collet holder.
Portable milling machine having a spanner
Portable milling machine having a housing, a spindle and a clamping nut, which, as part of a tool holder, can be rotatably connected to the spindle and detached therefrom in order to clamp and unclamp a milling tool, and the portable milling machine having a spanner, which can be moved relative to the spindle axially between an engaged position and a disengaged position, the spanner interlockingly surrounding the clamping nut at least in portions in the circumferential direction in the engaged position and, when the spanner is in the disengaged position, the clamping nut being rotatable relative to the spanner, the spanner being connected to the housing of the portable milling machine for conjoint rotation such that, when the spanner is in the engaged position, the clamping nut can be connected to the spindle and detached therefrom by manually rotating the spindle.
PRECISION SECURING DEVICE
A precision securing device is disclosed that comprises a central longitudinal hole to receive a shaft from a first end of the device, a gripping portion around the central hole to fixedly secure an upper part of the shaft, and an adjustment portion around the central hole adjacent the first end. The adjustment portion has a number of lateral adjustment holes opening into the central hole. Each adjustment hole is threaded to receive an adjustment screw into the central hole to contact a lower part of the shaft in the central hole. A first diameter of the central hole at the adjustment portion is larger than a second diameter at the gripping portion. Runout of the shaft is adjustable by adjusting depth of entry of each screw to displace the lower part of the shaft when the upper part has been fixedly secured in the gripping portion.
Tool holding system having captive and non-releasable members, method of manufacture and assembly of same and cutting tool
A cutting tool includes a tool holding system having a clamping portion. The clamping portion includes an integrally formed one-piece inner coupling member that at least partially forms a clamping sleeve portion having a clamping bore for clampingly receiving a cutting insert. The clamping portion also includes an integrally formed one-piece outer coupling member that is circumferentially disposed about at least a portion of the inner coupling member. The tool holding system also has a mounting portion that is connected to one of the inner and outer coupling members. The inner and outer coupling members are captively and non-releasably engaged with each other via inter-engaged first and second engagement surfaces that are slidingly displaceable with respect to each other.
