Cutting insert and milling tool
A second distance is longer than a first distance and a value obtained by dividing the third distance by the fourth distance is more than or equal to 0.5 and less than or equal to 0.8 when it is assumed that the first distance represents a distance between the cutting edge and the mounting surface in a direction perpendicular to the rake face, the second distance represents a distance between the mounting surface and a boundary portion between the rising portion and the flat portion in the direction perpendicular to the rake face, the third distance represents a distance between the boundary portion and a tip of the cutting edge in a direction parallel to the rake face, and the fourth distance represents a distance between the second discharging opening portion and the tip of the cutting edge in the direction parallel to the rake face.
CARTRIDGE AND MILLING TOOL
A purpose is to provide a cartridge that can adjust position even if a body does not have an adjusting mechanism.
A cartridge 10 is provided on a body B of a milling tool. The cartridge 10 is connected to an upper surface 10a, a lower surface 10b, and a first side surface 10c, and a slit 10h that divides the cartridge 10 into a main body part 10j, a thin material portion 10k, and a connecting part 10m that connects the main body part and the thin material portion is formed in the cartridge. Furthermore, a screw hole 10n with second female threads is formed in order for a second male screw that passes through the slit 10h to screw into. Furthermore, wherein the second male screw travels forward, the relative position of the main body part 10j changes with regard to the thin material portion 10k.
DRILL
The drill has a rake face, a flank face, and an outer circumferential surface. The flank face is continuous to the rake face. The outer circumferential surface is continuous to both the rake face and the flank face. A ridgeline between the rake face and the flank face constitutes a cutting edge. A ridgeline between the rake face and the outer circumferential surface constitutes an outer circumferential end. A groove is provided cyclically in the rake face to extend at an angle relative to an axis of the drill, the angle being larger than a helix angle of the drill. The groove has a depth of more than or equal to 1.5 m.
MILLING TOOL
A milling tool includes: a body having an outer circumferential surface formed around a central axis; a cutting insert having a rake surface, a flank surface, and a cutting edge formed by a ridgeline of the rake surface and the flank surface; and a screw attaching the cutting insert to the body. The outer circumferential surface has an insert attachment. The insert attachment portion is defined by a first seat surface continuing to the outer circumferential surface and a second seat surface continuing to the first seat surface and having a flat portion provided with a screw hole in which the screw is inserted. The cutting edge is formed of a sintered material containing at least one of cubic boron nitride and polycrystalline diamond. In a cross section perpendicular to the central axis, a first angle formed by a first direction and a second direction is an acute angle.
Milling tool for an angle grinders
A milling tool for an angle grinder has a supporting body, in the shape of a disk and able to be rotationally driven in a direction of rotation, which has an upper side and an underside. The supporting body is formed as a composite body of fiber-reinforced plastic. Cutting element chambers are formed in the supporting body, open to underside, in each of which one cutting element is replaceably arranged.
Rotary cutting tool having axial position adjustment arrangement
A rotary cutting tool includes a tool holder and a tool body releasably attached thereto. The tool body has a cutting portion that includes a peripheral insert pocket, for retaining a cutting insert. The tool holder includes an adjustment arrangement that includes a biasing member, movably attached to the tool holder, having a biasing portion. The cutting portion is adjustable between a non-flexed position and a flexed position. In the flexed position, the cutting portion is elastically deformed in a forward direction due to biasing engagement with the biasing portion, thereby adjusting the axial position of the insert pocket and thus the cutting insert.
Cutting tool and cutting insert having a deep blind opening
A non-indexable, one-sided cutting insert includes opposite insert side surfaces which define an insert width therebetween, opposite insert front and rear surfaces which extend between the insert side surfaces and define an insert depth therebetween and opposite insert top and bottom surfaces which extend between the insert side surfaces and the insert front and rear surfaces. The insert top and bottom surfaces define an insert height therebetween. The insert further includes a main cutting edge formed at an intersection between the insert top and front surfaces. A maximum value of the insert width is smaller than minimum value of the insert height, and a minimum value of the insert depth. The insert includes a deep opening which opens out only to the insert bottom surface and defines an opening depth. A depth ratio defined between the opening depth and the insert height is greater than 0.3.
Cutting tool
A cutting tool including an annular cutter body having at least one V-shaped pocket formed therein and a cutting tool cartridge configured to be received in the at least one pocket of the cutter body. The cutting tool cartridge including a main body. The main body includes a cutting head having a cutting chip control portion and a pocket configured to receive a cutting insert.
Milling tool for an angle grinders
A milling tool for an angle grinder has a supporting body, in the shape of a disk and able to be rotationally driven in a direction of rotation, which has an upper side and an underside. The supporting body is formed as a composite body of fibre-reinforced plastic. Cutting element chambers are formed in the supporting body, open to underside, in each of which one cutting element is replaceably arranged.
