A resistance welding device, comprising a frame for supporting a tool configured like a clamp with two arms arranged facing one another and having respective welding electrodes, of which a first arm is integral to the clamp and the second arm is assembled with the capacity of being moved with respect to the clamp by means of a first actuator, such that respective movements along a straight trajectory can be imparted to the arms of the clamp for moving their electrodes closer to or away from one another. One of the arms has a hollow head housing the corresponding electrode in a guided manner the tip of which is suitable for receiving the support of a component to be welded on the workpiece, the head and the electrode being able to adopt at least one standby position (A) in which the electrode is inside the mentioned head; and a working position (B), in which the tip of the electrode is arranged in or exceeds the inlet of the head, accordingly placing the component to be welded outside the head.

An apparatus includes a housing, a pin, a mechanism and a sensor. The housing is configured to receive a weld head. The pin is configured to move linearly relative to said housing. The mechanism is configured to convert a position of said pin into a displacement. The sensor is configured to generate a value representative of said position of said pin based on said displacement.

The present invention provides a low-voltage high-current light-weight spot welding machine, comprising: a welding power supply device, wherein the welding power supply device comprises a casing, a first electrode and a second electrode; a movable arm assembly, comprising a movable arm and at least one nut flange, wherein an end of the movable arm is connected with the at least one nut flange; at least one connection block, provided in between the first conductivity block and the first electrode; a drive assembly, wherein a drive rod of the drive assembly is connected with the at least one nut flange, the drive rod is located at a bottom portion of the casing; a static arm, wherein the static arm is connected with the second electrode via a second conductivity bridge, and the lateral connection plates are rotatably connected at the at least one flange structure; wherein, by connecting the movable arm assembly, the at least one connection block, the drive assembly and the static arm with the lateral connection plates, a bearing connection mechanism of the welding tong of a spot welding machine is formed and the bearing connection mechanism is integrally connected with the welding power supply device. In the present invention, the structural design of the movable arm and the static arm is tight, the welding tongs are designed to be small-sized, detachment between the welding tongs and the welding power supply devices can be done easily and rapid swift of the two kinds of welding tongs can be realized.

Additionally, a welding device resistively welds a part of the first panel sheet into which the element is inserted by the element punching device.

The suspension frame is pivotably coupled to each of the frame axle and the welding axle. And/or the element nest is connected with the linear drive via a mechanical direction-changing coupling component so that the element nest is movable by the linear drive in a second direction so that the auxiliary joining part is positionable at the joining location, wherein the second direction is not parallel to the first direction.

Seam-welding method and device therefor
This seam-welding device carries out seam welding while repeating one cycle comprising a melting period, an interruption period, and a heating period implemented either before or after the interruption period. A welding current is applied between a pair of roller electrodes so as to form a welded part between workpieces during the melting period, the application of the current between the roller electrode pair is interrupted so as to solidify the welded part during the interruption period, and a heating current smaller than the welding current is applied between the roller electrode pair so as to heat the laminated body within a solidification temperature range of the welded part during the heating period. Consequently, even when the welding speed is increased, formation of cracks and spatter is effectively suppressed such that a high-quality joined product is obtained.
