Method Of Welding Vehicle Recliner Mechanisms

A method of laser welding a recliner assembly includes positioning a first component of a vehicle seat recliner mechanism with respect to a second component of the vehicle seat recliner mechanism. The method further includes retaining a position of the first component and the second component. Retaining includes forming a plurality of tack welds between the first component and the second component. The method further includes fixing the first component to the second component. Fixing includes forming a finishing weld between the first component and the second component by laser welding the first component to the second component.

The bus bar includes a plate having a plurality of holes. The electrode tab of each of the battery cells is inserted into at least a part of the plurality of holes of the plate. The electrode tab inserted into the hole and the plate are coupled to each other by a welding bead, and the welding bead has a width and a height defined by Equations 1 and 2, respectively.

ORIENTATION AND GUIDE MECHANISM FOR NON-CIRCULAR WELD WIRE
20220402063 · 2022-12-22 ·

An orientation and guide mechanism for a welding system includes a pair of opposed guide members. A weld wire having a non-round cross-section is fed through a guide passageway formed between the guide members, each of which have recessed channels that combine to define the guide passageway. The guide passageway has a non-round shape corresponding to the non-round shape of the wire. The orientation mechanism and the guide members thereof is adjustable relative to a welding device of the weld system, such that the orientation of the wire can be controlled and maintained by adjusting the orientation mechanism. The wide side of the wire may be adjusted to be presented to a radiant energy source, and/or the non-round wire may be adjusted relative to the desired weld seam.

PISTON UNIT OF A WORKING CYLINDER

A piston unit of a working cylinder includes a piston and a piston rod. The piston has an axial bore hole formed therein. The piston rod is received in the axial bore hole. The piston rod and the piston are connected by a material-bond by a circumferential laser ring weld seam. The laser ring weld seam defines a pressure medium-tight sealing plane.

LASER WELDING SYSTEM
20220395928 · 2022-12-15 · ·

A shift in position of a laser beam used for welding objects is corrected without need for intervention by a welder. An irradiator performs welding along a welding part of objects to be welded by relatively moving objects to be welded and a nozzle for emitting a laser beam. An arm apparatus movably holds the nozzle while applying a biasing force to the nozzle in a direction toward the welding part such that the nozzle comes into contact with objects to be welded to irradiate the welding part with the laser beam.

WELDING METHOD AND WELDING DEVICE FOR WELDING CONDUCTOR ENDS
20220395923 · 2022-12-15 ·

A welding method for welding grouped conductor ends of a component for an electrical machine by means of a welding device. In the method, a relative position of a first conductor end and a second conductor end of grouped conductor ends and then a first size parameter of a molten pool formed during welding are detected. Subsequently, a second size parameter of the molten pool formed during welding is detected. In a further method step, a value of the molten pool is determined from the first size parameter, the second size parameter and the relative position. Finally, a welding energy input is controlled depending on the determined value of the molten pool.

WELDING METHOD OF BATTERY COVER PLATE

A welding method of a battery cover plate includes performing at least two times of continuous welding along a connecting zone between a cover plate and a shell, and adjusting laser welding power, welding speeds, and defocusing amounts. Welding power of a first continuous welding is less than welding power of a second continuous welding. An amount of deformation of the shell is less than or equal to 0.6 mm after the first continuous welding, and the amount of deformation of the shell is less than or equal to 1.0 mm after the second continuous welding.

Electric motor with housing fixed to end face of stator core
11509184 · 2022-11-22 · ·

A feed axis motor includes a front-side housing fixed to an end face of a stator core. The stator core is formed of a material with iron as a main component. The front-side housing is formed of a material with aluminum as a main component. The stator core and the front-side housing are coupled with each other at a welding mark generated by laser welding. The welding mark extends in a circumferential direction so as to cover a line of contact between the stator core and the front-side housing. The welding mark seals the boundary portion between the stator core and the front-side housing.
