A device for setting a temporary fastener. The temporary fastener includes a body with an expandable/retractable end and a rotary element capable of being driven in rotation so as to cause the expandable/retractable end to expand/retract. The device includes a support module that is able to house a temporary fastener and has a holder for holding the temporary fastening inside the module. The holder is movable between at least: a locking position in which the holder is deployed inside the module so as to cooperate with a temporary fastener placed in the module in order to prevent it from moving in translation inside the module, and a rest position in which the holder is retracted so as to allow a temporary fastener to pass through the module.

A method for controlling a level of screwing quality of a screwdriver relative to a predetermined screwing objective. The method includes: obtaining, at a predetermined angular frequency, a series of doublets representative of a rise in screwing torque for at least one screw, constituting a first table of values, each doublet including an angle value and a torque value; determining, from the first table, a second table of values presenting the torque as a function of the angle and being representative of the true characteristic of the at least one screw; determining a third table of values, presenting the torque as a function of the angle and being representative of disturbances induced by the screwdriver during the rise in torque, from the first and second tables; analysis of the third table, delivering information representative of a dispersion and/or a deviation relative to the screwing objective, resulting from the screwdriver-induced disturbances.

METHOD, DEVICE AND EQUIPMENT FOR MONITORING SCREWING

The disclosure provides a method, device and equipment for monitoring screwing. The method for monitoring screwing comprises: obtaining an air pressure value in an air supply line; the air supply line being used to supply air to a pneumatic screwdriver to trigger the pneumatic screwdriver to perform a screwing operation; determining a target monitoring value according to the air pressure value; wherein the target monitoring value comprises at least one of: an initial air pressure value when the pneumatic screwdriver starts performing the screwing operation; a lower air pressure limit value when the pneumatic screwdriver performs the screwing operation; a working time of the pneumatic screwdriver for performing the screwing operation; judging whether the target monitoring value conforms to a corresponding predetermined range value and obtaining a judgment result; determining, based on the judgment result, whether the pneumatic screwdriver performs the screwing operation properly.

Electric pulse tool

An electric pulse tool delivers torque in pulses on an output shaft of the electric pulse tool. The electric pulse tool includes an electric motor with a rotor and a gear arrangement adapted to drive the output shaft. The electrical pulse tool is operative, for each period, to control the speed of the rotor until a play in the gear arrangement is determined to be closed and the gear arrangement starts to move the output shaft.

SCREW FASTENING FAULT ASSESSMENT DEVICE, SCREW FASTENING DEVICE, SCREW FASTENING FAULT ASSESSMENT METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

The present invention provides technology with which it is possible to highly accurately assess the quality of fastening of a screw. The present invention comprises a position acquisition unit (13) that acquires the axial-direction position of a driver (50), and a fault assessment unit (14) that assesses that a fault has occurred in fastening of a screw when the amount of change in the axial-direction position of the driver (50) from when temporary seating occurred is greater than a threshold value. The present invention provides a technology with which the quality of screw fastening can be assessed with high precision.

Inspection system

An inspection system is provided, which is capable of notifying a worker of a determination result immediately while preventing detection failure. The inspection system to inspect a tightening state of a bolt includes: a server device that determines quality of the tightening state of the bolt based on a degree of similarity of a shape of a tightening waveform that indicates a torque change with time when a worker tightens the bolt using a nutrunner to a shape of a reference waveform that indicates an ideal torque change with time when the bolt is tightened; and a notification device that notifies the worker of the quality of the tightening state of the bolt, which is determined by the server device.

FASTENER INSERTION SYSTEM

A gripper/driver combination attached to a linear slide interfaces with a torque controller and an automation system. A fastener ready to be installed is presented and the gripper/driver combination is moved to capture the fastener. The fastener is held in place between the gripper and the driver. The captured fastener is then located over a hole where the fastener is to be inserted. Once in place, the fastener is inserted into the hole, and the driver will begin operating, for example, in the case of a screw fastener, the driver will be commanded to start thread engagement and rundown. Once the threads are engaged, the gripper will be removed, allowing the driver to complete the process.
