A processor is configured to analyze the data from the identification tag and a weight value from the scale to determine an updated quantity of inventory in the container, the processor comparing the updated quantity of inventory against a known quantity of inventory to determine an inventory discrepancy, the processor displaying the inventory discrepancy on the smart device.
