Machine tool
A machine tool which causes a tool mounted on a main spindle and workpiece attached to a table to move relative to each other so as to machine the workpiece, said machine tool being equipped with: a column that has guides for guiding movements in the vertical direction, that is, the direction of gravity; and a moving body that supports a spindle head at the front and moves in the vertical direction along the guides. The guides comprise a pair of right and left first guides and at least one second guide that is provided on the inner side of and posterior to the pair of first guides.

A handheld machining device (1), particularly for drilling, having a mechanism includes: a first mounting (20), on which a tool holder (2), and a motor (3, 4) arranged to rotate the tool holder (2), are mounted; a second mounting (30); and an element (40) for translatably guiding, between the first mounting (20) and the second mounting (30), a linear actuator (5) enabling the first mounting (20) to be spaced apart from the second mounting (30), and the first mounting (20) to be brought toward the second mounting (30). The motor (3, 4) is electric, and the rotor (4) of the first motor (3, 4) is directly mounted onto the tool holder (2) and is rigidly connected thereto.
Drive arrangement in a pneumatic power tool
A drive arrangement in a pneumatic power tool includes a pneumatic motor with an output shaft, and a spindle for mounting a cutting element and which externally includes both a thread and an axial groove. A drive rotation of the spindle is driven by a drive gear that is engaged with the axial groove on the spindle and that is drivingly connected to the output shaft so as to rotate at a constant speed with respect to the output shaft. A feed gear is threaded upon the spindle and may be rotated with respect to the spindle in order to advance and retract the spindle. The feed gear is driven by one intermediate feed gear which is interchangeably drivingly connectable to the output shaft via a first and a second gear connection, respectively, so as to advance or retract the spindle.

The motor control system of the present invention includes a signal receiving unit for receiving a signal for operating a mechanical brake, a position monitoring unit for obtaining the history of the rotational position of the servo motor from the receipt of the signal to when the rotation of the servo motor stops using a position detector, a displacement amount calculation unit which calculates the rotational displacement of the servo motor from the receipt of the signal to when the rotation of the servo motor stops from the history, and an abnormality determining unit which determines that an abnormality exists in the mechanical brake when the calculated rotational displacement exceeds a predetermined first threshold value.
Drilling tool with a flexible spindle feeding
A drilling tool includes a spindle, a housing at least partly housing the spindle, a feed gear drivingly connected to a motor and threaded around the spindle to feed the spindle in an axial direction of the spindle by mutual rotation between the feed gear and spindle during a drilling process, and a micro peck unit which includes an undulated cam profile and a follower arranged to bear against the cam profile, and which produces an oscillating movement of the feed gear and the spindle upon rotation of the feed gear during a drilling process. The micro peck unit further includes interposable rolling elements arranged to be re-positioned into a gap between two circular contact surfaces in order to separate the cam profile from the follower, such that no oscillating movement is produced by the unit when the interposable rolling elements are positioned inside the gap between the contact surfaces.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool for chip removal processing has an upright, a bench and a machining group. The upright has a prevailing extension along a vertical axis orthogonal to a base plane, a front side lying on a front upright plane and a rear side lying on a rear upright plane. The front and rear sides are connected to each other by a right side and a left side. The bench has a prevailing extension along a longitudinal axis and is suitable to be fixed to the base plane. The machining group, connected to the upright to be translatable along the vertical axis and an advancement axis, is suitable to perform chip removal operations on a workpiece. The upright has a front pair of vertical translation means and a rear pair of vertical translation means that adjust vertical translation of the machining group and keep the machining group orthogonal to the vertical axis.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool for chip removal processing has an upright, a bench and a machining group. The upright has a prevailing extension along a vertical axis orthogonal to a base plane, a front side lying on a front upright plane and a rear side lying on a rear upright plane. The front and rear sides are connected to each other by a right side and a left side. The bench has a prevailing extension along a longitudinal axis and is suitable to be fixed to the base plane. The machining group, connected to the upright to be translatable along the vertical axis and an advancement axis, is suitable to perform chip removal operations on a workpiece. The upright has a front pair of vertical translation means and a rear pair of vertical translation means that adjust vertical translation of the machining group and keep the machining group orthogonal to the vertical axis.
Automated cross slide system
An automated cross slide system having a cross slide with a back plate, a front plate and a saddle. The back plate can have a pair of end caps, a pair of linear guides, a first ball screw, a first gear box, a first servo motor, a first drive, and a first manual feed knob and the front plate can have a pair of end caps, a pair of linear guides, a second ball screw, a second gear box, a second servo motor, a second drive, and a second manual feed knob. The system can have a power supply, a communications hub with a processor and data storage connected to a network. The system can have a library of specification profiles and a human machine interface for accessing the library and controlling the first and second drives to cut a target piece in accordance with a selected specification profile.
Positioning Unit
A positioning unit for a carriage is adjustable by way of a linear drive and a base. The linear drive has an elongate part and a short part. The positioning unit has two compensation rods. In each case two adjacent compensation rods are connected together at one end via a joint and are connected at the other end to the elongate part of the linear drive via one of two joint arrangements that are arranged in each case at the end of the elongate part. The compensation rods and the elongate part of the linear drive are arranged in the form of a triangle and the angle between the compensation rods and the joint is variable by a thermal change in length of the elongate part of the linear drive. The carriage is connected to the joint and the short part of the linear drive is connected to the base.
Positioning Unit
A positioning unit for a carriage is adjustable by way of a linear drive and a base. The linear drive has an elongate part and a short part. The positioning unit has two compensation rods.
