Rotary table device
A rotary table device for a machine tool includes a main shaft that is rotatably supported in an insertion hole formed in a frame; a table that is secured to an end side of the main shaft, and on which a workpiece, serving as an object to be processed, is mounted; a clamp piston that is provided so as to be movable in an axial direction of the main shaft in the insertion hole; and a bearing that is provided between the table and the frame, and that directly supports the table with respect to the frame. The main shaft has a clamp surface facing the table. A pressure chamber is defined by the frame and the clamp piston. When an operating fluid is supplied to the pressure chamber, the clamp piston is caused to press-contact the clamp surface, so that the table is brought into a clamped state.
Braking and/or clamping device having an actuating assembly and a shaft-coupling assembly
A braking and/or clamping device for a shaft guided in relation to a basic body, includes an actuating assembly (10) and a shaft-coupling assembly (80). The actuating assembly comprises a split housing (11) which has two bending plates (15, 16) which can bulge elastically in certain regions. The bending plates each have gripper jaws (23, 24) with frictional surfaces (31, 32). A sealed pressure chamber (37), which can be filled with a pressure medium, is situated between the bending plates. Parts of a shaft-coupling assembly project between the clamping zones, said parts establishing and establish the linking to the braked or clamped shaft. When the pressure in the pressure chamber is relieved, the frictional surfaces of the actuating assembly can be applied to the frictional surfaces of the shaft-coupling assembly, thereby providing the braking and/or clamping force.
ROTARY TABLE DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE ROTARY TABLE DEVICE
In a method of controlling a rotary table device, a clamp mechanism drive unit is controlled to unclamp a brake disk. Thereafter, a pressure of working fluid supplied to an unclamp fluid chamber is decreased, and a motor drive unit is controlled to rotate a motor. Then, the abrasion quantity of the piston and the clamp member is calculated based on a reference pressure and a pressure when the load torque of a spindle exceeded a reference load torque.
ROTARY TABLE SYSTEM
The rotary table system includes a first rotary table coupled to one end side of a member for loading a workpiece, a second rotary table coupled to an other end side, a motor that rotationally drives the member for loading a workpiece, a first clamping mechanism that can clamp the first rotary table, a second clamping mechanism that can clamp the second rotary table, a clamp torque measuring device, a first operating passage that sends a clamping operation instruction to the first clamping mechanism, and a second operating passage that sends a clamping operation instruction to the second clamping mechanism, in which the clamp torque measuring device measures clamp torque individually for each of the first, second clamping mechanisms by individually selecting the first, second operating passage and causing the first, second clamping mechanisms to individually perform a clamping operation.
Clamping mechanism of rotation table device
A clamping mechanism of rotation table device includes a shaft fixing a workpiece to an end portion thereof, a brake disk fixed to the shaft, and a clamping mechanism clamping or unclamping the brake disk by driving a piston. The clamping mechanism includes a plate spring fixed to a rear plate fixed to a casing and a piston and urging the piston in a clamping direction at all times by an elastic deformation restoring force and the plate spring is fixed to the rear plate or the piston through an annular plate.

Brake mechanism for rotary work table of machine tool
A brake mechanism has a brake disk, multiple clutches, and multiple brake assemblies. The brake disk is coaxially connected to a rotatable work table. The multiple clutches are capable of clamping the brake disk. The multiple brake assemblies correspond in position to the multiple clutches. Each one of the multiple brake assemblies has a housing, an abutting shaft inserted in the housing, and multiple elastic units received in the housing and abutting against the abutting shaft. The multiple abutting shafts of the multiple brake assemblies abut against the brake disk for stopping the work table from rotating. A hydraulic system applies hydraulic pressure inside the multiple housings of the multiple brake assemblies and forces the multiple abutting shafts to depart from the corresponding clutch, making the work table rotate again.
