Blade sharpeners
A blade sharpener for use with a powered rotary tool having a rotatable sharpening element includes a main body having a bore for receiving the powered rotary tool, where the bore extends through the main body along an axis and the main body has a first channel for receiving a blade to be sharpened. The first channel is perpendicular to the rotary axis and opens into the bore to permit a blade to engage the sharpening element. The blade sharpener also includes a guide having a guide channel for receiving a blade to be sharpened where the guide is pivotally attached to the main body to accommodate any curvature of a blade to be sharpened as the blade sharpener follows along the blade.
KNIFE SHARPENER AND KNIFE SHARPENING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a knife sharpener. The knife sharpener includes a hand shank and a sharpening member. Mounting portions are arranged at two ends of the hand shank. An outer diameter of each of the mounting portions is greater than an outer diameter of the hand shank. The sharpening member is connected to the mounting portions, so that the sharpening member and the hand shank rotate axially. During use, the knife sharpener is put on an operating platform, such as the ground or a tabletop, and the knife is fixed on one side of the knife sharpener. The knife can tilt towards an end portion of the knife sharpener to make a cutting edge lean against the sharpening member. During sharpening, a user pushes the hand shank back and forth with the palm, so that the knife sharpener moves back and forth relative to the knife.
Manual sharpener
A manual sharpener includes at least one pre-sharpening stage having interdigitating comb-like abrasive sharpening structure. The sharpener also includes a finishing stage having a pair of abrasive surfaced truncated conical disks as its sharpening structure. The disks are mounted on a rotatable shaft with the small ends of the disks in contact with each other.
DEVICE FOR SHARPENING BLADES
Sharpening device for sharpening blades mounted on cutting machines, comprising two grinding wheels (2, 3) supported by respective movable supports (20, 30) adapted to move said grinding wheels (2, 3) from a standby or rest configuration in which the grinding wheels (2, 3) are positioned at a predetermined distance from the blade (4) to an active configuration in which the grinding wheels (2, 3) are in contact with a cutting edge (40) of the blade (4) and vice-versa along a predetermined trajectory (R2, R3). The movable supports (20, 30) are adapted to move said grinding wheels (2, 3) along respective arcuate trajectories, such that the contact of each grinding wheel (2, 3) with a respective side of the cutting edge (40) of the blade (4) is progressive, whereby the contact between the grinding wheels and the blade increases progressively when the device passes from the standby rest configuration to the active configuration.
