SUBSTRATE CLAMPING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a display manufacturing field. Disclosed is a substrate clamping device. The substrate is arranged on the trolley. The clamping arms arranged on the trolley are used for fixing the substrate. The clamping arms move up and down as rotating by means of the rotary lifting mechanism, thereby clamping and releasing the substrate. The impact on the substrate is small in the entire clamping process, and the handling of the substrate is facilitated. The clamping arms arranged around the substrate and symmetrically arranged in pair can keep the force of the substrate uniformly and can clamp the substrate more reliably.
NEST DEVICE FOR POSITIONING A PART DURING TESTING OR ASSEMBLY
Apparatuses, systems and methods associated with a nest device design are disclosed herein. In embodiments, a nest device may include a main body and one or more air bearings that extend from the main body. A placement mechanism may be positioned on ends of the one or more air bearings, wherein the placement mechanism includes the part. The one or more air bearings may blow air out of the ends of the air bearings against the placement mechanism when the air bearings are in a first state, and draw air in through the ends when the air bearings are in a second state. The nest device may further include one or more air jets that extend from the main body and are directed toward the placement mechanism, air blown by the one or more air jets causes the placement mechanism to be translated. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Vise Clamp
An adjustable clamp for the retention of a vice or work piece onto a slotted worktable. The clamp has a raised rear foot that both spans the standard width of a slot in a slotted worktable regardless of the angle the clamp is secured to the worktable, and generates an increased gripping force at both contact points of the clamp. Its nose accommodates a cylindrical pin recess to accommodate a cylindrical pin to allow the vice to clamp to a vice with a raised peripheral lip. The 30 degree beveled front edge allows the clamp a substantial planar contact surface with the vice or work piece, enhancing stability.
Clamp head
A clamp head including an arched body having upper and lower faces, and opposing unequal length arms. The body further has a through aperture for a bolt or like threaded fastener extending between the upper and lower faces, the through aperture tapering outwardly through the body in the direction of the lower face. The arms comprise a reaction arm having at its distal end a curved reaction face and a clamping arm having at its distal end a curved clamping face. The curved reaction face has a first edge that is proximal to the reaction face and a second edge that is distal to the reaction face, wherein the radius of curvature of the reaction face increases in the direction of the second edge.
