A ratchet wrench has a head. The head is recessed with a driving chamber. A ratchet wheel is disposed in the driving chamber. The driving chamber is covered with a cover plate. The head further has a first shaft hole. The cover plate has a second shaft hole. Two sides of the ratchet wheel are provided with a first shaft portion inserting through the first shaft hole and a second shaft portion inserting through the second shaft hole, respectively. A bearing ring is sleeved onto the second shaft portion. An outer periphery of the bearing ring abuts against an inner wall surface of the driving chamber for positioning and lubricating the ratchet wheel, so that the ratchet wheel can rotate smoothly.

A ratchet wrench includes wrench body having a head which has a first side and a second side. A through hole is defined through the first and second sides. A first face and a second face are formed on the inner periphery of the through hole. The first face faces the first side. The second face faces the second side. A ratchet wheel is rotatably accommodated in the through hole and includes a first surface formed in a radial direction of the ratchet wheel, and the ratchet wheel further includes a second surface which extends in the axial direction of the ratchet wheel. The first surface contacts the second face. The second surface contacts the first face which is located substantially in an axial direction of the through hole. A sharp angle is formed between the first and second surfaces.

A ratchet tool having a head having a first cavity is adapted to receive a cover plate and a second cavity. An aperture extends between the first cavity and the second cavity. Disposed in the first cavity is a ratchet gear and a pawl. A selector switch disposed in the second cavity and moves the pawl between a first position and a second position. A retaining clip retains the selector switch in the second cavity. The retaining clip extends into the first cavity. The pawl includes a first extended portion and a second extended portion extending from a lower end of the pawl. At least a portion of the retaining clip is disposed between the first extended portion and the second extended portion. The first extended portion and the second extended portion contact the lower surface of the first cavity. An upper end of the pawl contacts the cover plate.

TOGGLER STRUCTURE FOR RATCHET WRENCH

A toggler structure for a ratchet wrench includes an elongated toggler arranged between a locking member and a direction switch member of the ratchet wrench. The rear side of the toggler includes at least two connecting portions. At least two elastic elements are arranged between the connecting portions of the direction switch member and the toggler in order to provide an elastic force to push the toggler to abut against the locking member. The elongated toggler can be applied to a ratchet structure of a greater thickness in order to increase the structural strength and operational torque of the ratchet wrench. Furthermore, the elastic elements can provide a uniform elastic force in the length direction of the toggler, thereby allowing the locking member to engage with the ratchet structure properly.

Wrench rotational axis re-positioning apparatus

A wrench rotational axis re-positioning apparatus includes a housing, an interior cavity defined in the housing, input and output gear assemblies mounted to the housing and disposed in the interior cavity in a meshing contact with one another and rotatable about respective first and second axes arranged in a right angle configuration with one another, the input and output gear assemblies having respective input and output fittings for connection to respective drive and driven devices, and a ratcheting mechanism mounted to the housing and extending from exterior thereof into the interior cavity such that the ratcheting mechanism is presettable, or manually manipulatable, in either one of first and second orientations relative to the output gear assembly to enable the latter to correspondingly rotate in one or the other opposite direction about the second axis in response to the input gear assembly being rotated in either opposite direction about the first axis.

A ratchet wrench includes a ratchet unit which has a ratchet tube with a reception hole. A collar is connected to one side of the head and has a slit defined radially through the collar. An engaging member has a first end thereof fixed to the collar, and a second end of the engaging member extends through the slit. The second end of the engaging member is partially located within the through hole of the collar and located above the reception hole of the ratchet tube. An operation ring is mounted to the collar and connected the engaging. A C-clip is mounted to the outer periphery of the collar. When the operation ring is rotated, the second end of the engaging member is pushed to move within the through hole of the collar to position a socket located in the reception hole of the ratchet tube.

A socket includes two opposite ends and an axis extending between the ends. The socket further includes a small-diameter section in the vicinity of the first end, a large-diameter section in the vicinity of the second end, and a polygonal section between the small-diameter section and the large-diameter section. A circular bore extends in the small-diameter section along the axis. A non-circular bore extends in the polygonal section and the large-diameter section along the axis. Thus, an entire length of the socket and a length of the large-diameter section measured along the axis are rendered relatively small without reducing a depth of the non-circular bore.
